Ari, if you respect the current borders of all those countries, including Serbias borders, then there is no problem. The UN sees Kosovo as sovereign terriotry of Serbia (go read UN papers).

They have little to protect such as billions in investments. And I dont think Albania and Kosovo will ever be one country. It opens a can of worms, such as Rep Serbska joining Serbia. Why not? And Croats in Bosnia will want their bit of Bosnia joining Croatia, right?

And not sure you know how tax system works. Serbia may be losing millions from tax (illegal taxes) but its not going in Albos pockets. In actual fact people in Kosovo are paying higher prices in shops for similar goods. So explain how Serbia is paying for a "wall" (which will never be built)? And if a wall is ever built it will be Pristina paying for it. Go ahead explain the above points, lets see that logic......
Kosovo/a is a frozen conflict just like Northern Ireland (UK/Ireland), Northern Cyprus (Turkey/Greece) , Kashmir (India/Pakistan), Nagorno karabakh (Armenia/ Azerbaisan ), Transnusa (Moldova/Russia), South Ossetia (Georgia/Russia) and Donetsk (Ukraine/Russia) are, and will remain so for generations to come.
And everyone recognizes that if there was to be any actual conflict between Albania and Serbia over Kosovo, it would quickly spiral out of control and ‘WILL” drag in both the US and Russia into a proxy war which will only result in the West Balkans looking like Syria and Iraq, which nobody should ever wish for.
So hopefully both the Albanian and Serbian people can elect politicians that can navigate this complex issue and find a mutually acceptable (win/win) solution peacefully.

You two seem to have the most time on your hands. Why not take a trip to Kosova or Albania to see what Albanians are really like. Not that it will change the outcome of negotiations, but it will allow you both to have inner peace after the inevitable recognition occurs.
We do want Kosovo to join Albania, and Serbia is acting as a cockblocker, which is ungentlemanly and not cool. If you want to be a colony of Russia and China, you go right ahead. But Kosovo is a lost cause either way because you can’t do much to get it back. Unless you miss NATO’s sweet kiss that it gave you in the last spring of the last millennium ahahahaha!
