Supposedly France is a rich country, they bombed Serbia, showed disrespect at to Serbia at the world war remembrance gathering by having kosovo representatives as victors when they were on the wrong side, France didnt help with funding New York's St. Sava Serbian Orthodox church which burn down 5 years ago, France recognize kosovo independence and also will not tell kosovo to remove the 100% taxes and lastly continue to pressure Serbia in accepting kosovo as independant.
I disagree with this decision.
A smaller amount of €1000would be enough.
There are more important jobs to be done in rep Serbia may I suggest like
Paving the streets in Subotica.
And steps on the street level.
Pledging €1mil.is to much.
The Vatican is the richest organisation there is so they should be funding this.
I am sorry that this has happened to the French but my God they still haven't paid Serbia a penny for the destruction they played a part in.

France benefits from all of these tourist attractions and they should pay for this cathedral alone and not accept donations. I think in today's world where there are millions of kids around the world dying of hunger and no one cares to donate and feed them shows how humans have lost touch with the reality. They'd rather spend billions on building a cathedral than do what the religion and supposedly this cathedral teaches to help people in need. The shallowness of human race is absolutely pathetic.

This is a splendid idea! Since our maternity wards, schools, and public road system are over-funded, its a great idea to send a million Euros for the reconstruction of a historical artifact! If you don't believe me about overfunding, just look at the katastar in Nis -- they are on their second strike since December, and still aren't working because their payments are so high and they don't feel the need to work full-time anymore!
