Dacic: Serbia will never join anti-Russia sanctions

Serbia will not impose any restrictive measures on Russia despite pressure, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said.

Actually in one of my emails to Mr Juncker I suggested that Russia should be accepted into EU.In any case they are not allien now as they sit on the Council. Better to have them in than out.

Serbia should be realistic and telling the people the truth. If Serbia will join the EU it has to harmonize the main areas of foreign policy with the positions of Brussels. There is not one EU member who is not following the sanctions opposite Russia or China in the case of defense goods. If the majority of Serbs would not accept this, they cannot further apply for EU membership. Probably they could discuss with Brussels a kind of privileged partnership. You cannot dance on two weddings. You must decide about your future and try to develop different strategic ways under different foreign conditions.

According to him, Serbia's plans to become part of the European Union will not hamper development of relations with Russia.

Having Serbia in EU, it is just having Russia in. Nothing against Russian I like the language more than Serbian...:)
