Bill on conversion of housing loan debts in Swiss francs

The Serbian government adopted on Tuesday the bill on conversion of housing loans indexed in Swiss francs.

ari is correct. I would only add that in the West this type of loan is called predatory lending and is outlawed. The government should simply declare these loans as a criminal activity of banks and make them unenforceable in Serbia. This means the borrowers would not have to pay them back. Furthermore, the banks should be heavily fined for this activity. I would suggest a fine ten-times the size of the original loans. Problem is, the Serbia government thinks it is too weak to punish criminal bankers and will let them off the hook. The Serbian government is stronger than any bank and should protect its citizens

IF YOU REALY WANT TO HELP THIS SERBIAN PEOPLE ,YOU SHOULD CONVERT THE LOANS IN DINARS . PEOPLE IN SERBIA GET PAID IN DINARS NOT EURO OR SWISS FRANKS. THIS IS THE REASONS I DON'T LIKE EU BANKS IN BALKANS THYE TAKE THE DEPOSITORS MONEY FROM OUR REGION AND LEND IT TO US FOR HIGH RATES.THIS IS WHY I WANTED PEACE AND PROSPERITY IN REGION. SO OUTSIDERS DON'T TAKE ADVATAGE OF BALKAN PEOPLE. OUR POLITICIANS DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO STAND UP TO THE BANKS FROM EU. GOOD LUCK . BORROW MONEY IN DINARS NOT EU ,OR SWISS ….
