Jugoslavija,
Take your best shot, Serbia, if you had any chance of gaining by retaliating, you would have by now. Serbia is not known to act , but react! We call your bluff!!!

Jugoslavija

"2. Serbia will loose millions by being represented from a US company to revoke the taxes that they will never be able to succeed in."

Look at this, Pristina economics 101, hate to burst you bobble head.

First of all, "locally made" products take a long time to be developed to be traded into the market for industrial goods. Foodstuffs are being met for internal consumption. Its not like Kosovo has a complicated economy which is mostly agriculturally based. Finished goods are being imported from "Northern Macedonia", "Albania" and or "Greece" at higher prices. These costs are being passed along to the consumer, nothing more , nothing less.

Serbia is losing millions albeit recovering some of the margins as it exports through other countries into the Kosovo market as the profit margin is still there given that Kosovo is such a low cost market. If Serbia does in fact place counter measures and closes the border to Kosovo, the impact on Kosovo sill be far greater than what is being felt in Serbia. Tariffs are a losing proposition for both countries especially the smaller one with limited resources.

Finally, you Albanians really have a problem with being loser's and very loose with your brains. Must be an Albanian mental block trying to decipher the difference between "lose" and "looser". If you want to join the EU , learn the difference including "Chooch" from Italy who has the same spelling problem.

If that is true for the immediate surrounding, then it implies that Serbia being part of that surrounding also had few markets to sell the goods that Albanians don't want to touch with a ten foot pole. So Serbia is stuck too.

To your dismay, there are endless suppliers of higher quality goods in the immediate surrounding with much better prices. As you might have noticed, tariffs are nearly half a year old and Albanians, contrary to your ill minded expectations - haven't died of hunger.

Frankly, you make no sense. How can Kosova have few options in choosing their suppliers?! Explain your rational!? The world is huge and over-flooded with high quality cheap produce, much cheaper than those from Serbia. In fact, tariffs of 100% have open the way for Kosovar products to emerge. The only big time looser in all this thing is Serbia. Manufacturers from Serbia have lost the Kosova market for good, that's why Vučić is on kuku-lele mode all day long, every single day.

Judging by the quality of your thinking, you are crap at drawing too.

How come not buying goods any more from Serbia means that Albanians are not able to go to other suppliers and how did you figure that there are few other suppliers available?

Any goods that "Kosovo"* will by from any of the suppliers within the EU mainly goods will bore label "made in EU country" or "produced in EU country" or produced for EU.
So it's possible that rep Serbia is selling to any of EU countries that Re sell to "Kosovo *"
And wheat or flour are Re packed.

I still think its funny that the albanians want to talk about a 'bad economy'.

This is the country that got into a civil war because of a multi level marketing ponzi scheme.

It sounds like a bad joke but is true and maybe that upsets them the most.

Let Eu's Mr Hahn sort out unlawful taxes. If not I am going to lobby suppliers of goods to "kosovo" *to impose exactly 100% taxes too on all imported.

@Tom L'Orizi

It is very simple:

Other countries-->Albania, croatia and a few other neighbouring countries

Not being able to go to another supplier--> those are your only few options as it is not profitable to import for example from ghana.

So the point is you only have a few options and those few options now have the power to raise prices as you will not be able to source them a lot further then that.

Simple enough now or do you want to draw me some pictures with it?

The Kosovo economy has 60% unemployment by adding 100% tax on serbian goods it has hurt the Albanians the most many Albanians depended on the Serbian trade because of No jobs in Kosovo there is big exodus out from Kosovo Most of them are escaping to EU. To settle Kosovo with Serbia is the Albanian only hope in Kosovo at least.
(@Blue, 15 April 2019 16:05)

60% unemployment, really? You are exaggerating a whole lot but that is ok since you already know it yourself that you have no valid facts in this argument. The unemployment rate is between 25 and 30%. The taxes have only strengthened the economy in Kosova as a lot of things that were coming from Serbia are now being made in Kosova. The taxes have hurt Serbia and strengthened Kosova in many ways.
1. Serbia has lost millions due to not being able to sell anything in Kosova.
2. Serbia will loose millions by being represented from a US company to revoke the taxes that they will never be able to succeed in.
3. Kosova has strengthened their economy by raising the amount of local made products and expanding and creating new jobs.

This has been a WIN-WIN-WIN situation for Kosova.

P.S. Hearing Vucic whine and squeal for 5 months now has been an added bonus to this whole thing.

Just sayin

(Sunny Hill, 15 April 2019 15:23)

Serbia's economy has an annual GDP of 13 billion a year. Kosovo's lame attempt at taxing cookies and kisela voda, have, at best, affected about 500 million euros.

And that's not counting what makes in into Kosovo through smuggling or rerouting through Macedonia, Montenegro, or Croatia.

I know you've got little at the bottom of the barrel to scrape, but don't confuse what you accumulate to be a meal :)
(LOL, 15 April 2019 16:31)

I love it how Serbia is spending their last few dinars trying to get a US company to represent them on this tax situation. Keep it up as this is how Albanians are killing two birds with one stone by draining Serbia's broke budget. Next big hit in Serbia's economy will come from Germany when they condition Serbia to recognize Kosova or pull out all of their investments. Vucic knows what is about to take place on that Merkel meeting.

If that is true for the immediate surrounding, then it implies that Serbia being part of that surrounding also had few markets to sell the goods that Albanians don't want to touch with a ten foot pole. So Serbia is stuck too.

To your dismay, there are endless suppliers of higher quality goods in the immediate surrounding with much better prices. As you might have noticed, tariffs are nearly half a year old and Albanians, contrary to your ill minded expectations - haven't died of hunger.

Frankly, you make no sense. How can Kosova have few options in choosing their suppliers?! Explain your rational!?
