Albanopolis....your claim that Serbian policies (I'm guessing N Mitrovica and or Belgrade) in the last 10 tears have not brought N Kosovo to Serbia. Yes, I agree. But my point, if you dont understand, is that Pristinas policies of not honouring the Brussels agreement, imposing taxes, forming an army, insisting on a platform/wish list, etc, have not brought UN recognition, not tempted foreign investments, not helped with massive unemployment, not got visa free travel to Europe, etc.
And there is little pressure on Belgrade these days. Most of the world blames Pristina for the log jam.
You see, this stale mate is harming Kosovo more. And Pristina needs to abolish taxes, throw away the platform, honour the Brussels agreement, etc. Then there would be talks to move things along and come to some solution.
By the way, why didnt Pristina honour the Brussels agreement of the Serb munisipalities?? They did sign it, so whats the problem.??

Bert, if you are a democrat, as you claim to be, you cant just replace elected individuals just because they then refuse to take up their positions.
In parliament there are a handful of MPs from Northern Ireland. They are from the Sinn Fein party (political wing of the IRA). These Sinn Fein MPs get elected by the people, but they never take up their seats in Westminster. Its their right to do so.
There can be no "replacing" them just because it suits the powers that be.
That Bert, is democracy.
But I suspect that the Pristina authorities have similar undemocratic views like you.

It's a stock photo, from north Kosova, in the border with Serbia. If anything, it shows what an ugly and decrepit place N Kosova has become.

But, most likely B92 graphics department puts it up to manipulate people like you, prone to propaganda, and make them think the way you did. And in addition it says more about you too, that falls for this manipulation.

Many foreign tourists who visit Kosova, come out impressed:

"Okay, so if Kosovo has not won independence in 20 years how will it do that now?? "

Kosova won independence 11 years ago but it might take a few more years for the news to reach the rock under which you live.

"Albos vexed everytime Serbia pulls a mimic move."

You might have skipped the part where I said that Prishtina won't be impressed, so let me restate it again: Albos don't give a shit, whether the Serb politicians in N Kosova leave other Serbs in the North without public services. In the big scheme of things this is so insignificant, that it won't even register. It's not even the first time that is has happened. Cut your nose to spite your face - that's fine by us.

But have you noticed how the Serbs from the South are still at their jobs and working with Albanians?

If you don't recognize the institutions don't play their game.
Do Chinese participate in elections in Taiwan?
No they don't because participation would be implicit recognition.

Serb mayors to win in North Kosovo, and then resign again"

Who do they think they will be hurting by playing these games?
It will be the people in the North that won't have access to services. Trash will pile, Mafia will continue to cash in, while everyone else rots in shit.
Authorities in Prishtina or Brussels won't be impressed - this is a stale game plan.
Belgrade will be viewed again as obstructionist, and up to their old tricks. If boycott didn't bring N Kosova to Serbia in the last 10 years, how is it going to bring it to it now?

Albanopolis....you are right that north Kosovo is still under Albanian control (if you can call it that). But what have these policies given Pristina in the last 10/11 years?? Certainly no UN recognition and no interpol or Unesco membership. In fact its resulted in 12/13 revokations of recognition.
The problem Albanians have is realising that Kosovo is not a done deal. Far from it. Its the arrogance of thinking that starting an armed conflict can legalise stealing land. Nearly half the world dont recognise Kosovo (and 2 of the 3 superpowers dont).
You better hope that Marine Le Pen dont win in France because she openly says that she will revoke French recognition. And if that happens (very possible because she came 2nd last time and Macron is the most unpopular president in living memory) its very likely that Belgium, Holland Luxembourg will follow.
Kosovo is not a country (see UN notes) and Albos better trash taxes, remove "platform/wish list", get on with what they signed in the Brussels agreement, etc. Otherwise it could be curtains for any sort of Kosovo. Be careful.

Thaci wants to play games....then I think the Serbs will give it to him. Whats the point of these elections, because it will only end up as it is now...
But this is repeated here in the UK where Sinn Fein get elected as MPs but refuse to take up their seats in Parliament.
And, Mr Thaci, your point is......

Principa, Gracanica, kosovo & Metohija Srbija

This is not a game its the Serbs who live their only way to be heard and protect their survival.

The non-albanian community in Serbia's province need to vote in full force and demonstrate this is no game, their lives matter!

Oh what a tangled web we weave....perhaps the EU need to tell the muppets to get in late be and rescind taxes and implement what is agreed!
