Why is this even an issue ? Of course you should lobby the US gov, because that's how it works in the US. It's not a question of right or wrong, it's their system. Do you have American troops based in your country? Yes, then lobby the gov to change or get paid for it. Pretending the truth is the only righteous path is naïve and foolhardy. Grow up and play the game, if you want to accomplish anything.
