Glow, I have to say that your comments are more puzzling than ever. Serbia isolated??? If that was the case then why so much investment in Serbia?? You talk about "third world" countries...but you were proud to say 116/120 countries around the world recognised Kosovo. Right? When some decided to revoke recognition you say you dont care and that they now 3rd world!!!
Are you calling Spain, Greece, Slovakia, Brazil, Cyprus, Israel, Argentina, Romania, China, Russia, etc third world countries?? Remember China is the 2nd biggest economy in the world and Russia is more than a match for bankrup USA. You also need to remember that a small nation has one vote at the UN, Unesco, Interpol, etc. The same as your beloved and war loving USA.

View, Serbia is in almost complete diplomatic isolation. The only political diplomacy Serbia has is with the third world countries, the ones that they have bought, I might add. Kosova will be traveling freely soon but to me the support and relationships Kosova has with the West is what counts the most.

OMG, can you be any more delusional?
Serbia has excellent relationships with the west. It's the west who is investing in Serbia not Kosovo.
Who is it that Serbia hasn't a relationship with except Kosovo? Point to one country please.
Serbia has investment from west and east. You must've lived under a rock till yesterday if you really believe your own words.

Don't you mean isolated Kosovo? If you think Serbia is isolated, then there are no words to describe Kosovo.

(Nenad From Melbourne, 29 March 2019 08:47

There will be no bigger mass exodus with the Albanians than the ones that Serbia already had. I hear that a lot of moms on those weekly protests in Serbia complaining that all the youth have left Serbia and saying that the only connection they have with their kids is thru skype.

Serbia's population is very old to begin with, and on top of that, you have all the young people leaving in search of a better life outside of isolated Serbia.
You are projecting Serbia's issues into Kosova to make you feel better and not let this positive news about Kosova bother you too much.

Why should 100% taxes on Serbian goods entering Kosovo prompt the Serbian government to double the cost of Serbian passports? When I got my passport about three years ago, I paid around 3500rsd. Why should I or my retired friend in Smederevo or a hotel cleaning lady in Belgrade pay 7000rsd for their next passport?

Chi, everything USA does is very well planned and nothing is done by accident. Bondsteel is their forever military base for their troops in the Balkans. Just like they still have their military bases in Germany. Also, the USA has build a brand new embassy in Kosova that is worth over 215 million dollars. They have laid roots in Kosova that shows that they are there permanently.
Also, sorry to break it to you but Russia is all talk and can't ever arm-race with USA. Putin talks a big game but he doesn't have the "benjamins" to compete with USA.

We said it many times that we don't give a damn about third world countries like Palau and Burundi. All Dacic has done with those "revocations" is that he has bought himself some extra points with Serbia's money so his political career can last passed Serbia's recognition of Kosova. This is all for internal political gain for himself. Also, a lot of knowledgeable political people debate the validity of revoking ones recognition after it's been recognized once. The flip-flopping of I recognize you one day and don't recognize the next day is a third world country "thing". No reputable country would do something like that. But hey, in Burundi and Palau anything goes.
Also, I guess people in Serbia don't have any common sense left to see pass the political bs, whether it is internal or external politics.

Well Chi what I can tell you is that at least in my country there are some Kosovar-Albanian expats who run legitimate businesses in my country so for instance in the neighboring province of Nova Scotia and the city of Halifax there is this pizza restaurant (which may still be in existence) named Rugova's Pizza so when I ate there (which was actually back in 2011) I recall the employees were Kosovar-Albanians and I found them pleasant to talk to and here in Fredericton there's a telecommunication or a type of telecommunication business that is owned by a Kosovar-Albanian man and he happens to be on Lindekin ( well something like that) and when I viewed his credentials he did graduate from Pristina,so either way,he's educated just like his local brother who I learned is an engineer so what my point is that this should be proof that these Kosovar-Albanians have legitimate businesses and I very much doubt ( though I don't know them personally) they are involved in drugs and by the way and if necessary about the U.S. most Albanians don't appear to be subject to profiling like African-Americans are by the police and it may be because most Albanians and Albanian-Americans are white.

Of course not. That's why Albanians visit the Serbian visa office in Gracanica every week to apply for a Serbian passport so they can travel out of Kosovo never to return. Funny how they suddenly become Serbian citizens again the minute they have a job prospect in Germany.
(Navi, 29 March 2019 03:46)

For the sake of argument, let's grant you that K-Albanians are indeed going to Gracanica to get Serbian passports, en masse.

Some obvious and immediate problems with that assertion;

1) The EU's visa-free regime with Serbia excludes Kosova/o.
This means, any Serbian passport issued to people living in Kosova/o, as well as anyone from Kosova/o living abroad applying at a Serbian embassy/consulate, will get said passport issued by "MUP Serbia, Kordinaciona Uprava" (sp?).
These types of passports are specifically excluded from the visa-free regime; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_passport#Inhabitants_of_Kosovo
Which makes these Serbian passports as worthless as Kosovar passports fot visa-free access to EU

2) But, let's ignore the point above, and also grant you that somehow and in violation of the visa-free regime, the passports issued are indeed issued by "MUP Serbia".
This only allows the holder of such passport to travel to EU for 90 days, NOT to emigrate there

So, what in the god's ever-warming earth are you talking about?

Chi babbling on again with his very narrow view that can't see anything past his nose. Look at the big picture, Kosova is Independent and recognized by over 100 countries. Kosova doesn't bother to get other countries to recognize them since they know Serbia will recognize Kosova soon and that will obviously close this chapter with every other country recognizing Kosova as well. Serbia will have pressure from EU and USA to do that, not just because they want to help Albanians but because that is very well aligned with their own INTERESTS in the region. Kosova has support from the strongest democratic countries of the world. You can try to feed into your country's propaganda and believe that is all doom and gloom in Kosova but none of your people have been in Kosova in 20 years and have no clue of Kosova's actual progress. Kosova has come out the most horrific war and its rebuilding has been pretty impressive so far.

USA's presence in Kosova is forever with Bondsteel. NATO is also building an airfield worth of millions in Albania. Ask yourself why they all are so found of the Albanians?

Its an illegal entity propped up by some western nations for their own selfish interests and contrary to international law (see res 1244). Lets ask some questions; Is Kosovo a member of the UN? If it was a member it could be a sovereign nation. Is Kosovo in Inerpol, Unesco, Council of Europe, etc? No its not.
Kosovo is an illegal entity which more and more countries are revoking recognition of after the US bullied them into recognising. Hell, some nations never even recognised Kosovo but Pristina claimed they did.
So just by arresting a politician from Serbia does not give you the status of an sovereign country. The Djuric incident shows what a brutal and uneducated stone age tribe run Pristina. But for how long will this mafia be in Prostina???

Not too well huh? Anyways as I recall: immediately before the Syrian refugee crisis, the big problem in the EU was K-Albo refugees (100,000 fled Kosovo i Metohija over a 6 month period in fact). The EU can adopt a policy of liberalization with yearly quotas and time limits of 2-3 months! Maybe start off with 5000-15000 visas yearly and if any person over stays their visa a visa ban of a minimum of 5 years!

I would however stringently monitor the way that visas would be issued in order to make it fare for everyone and minimize any potential corruption!

What seems to be the issue here? I don't think Serbia has any objections for EU Visas for Albanians in Kosovo to align with Serbian citizens. Haridinaj should consider a 100% percent tax on all European imports until EU visa are formally granted.

The truth, I'm afraid Ljiljana is right, Kosovo is not a country.

Haha. You know nothing Tom. Dimitris was criticized here in Brussels yesterday to make this statement because its far far from certain. Many thought it was not good to promise something that will not been achieved.
There is still massive resistance and 21 countries are against. Five countries say that it is impossible due to the status of Kosvo, namely it is a province and provinces cannot obtain visas.

EU countries have a long history of ignoring EP recommendations. Case in point: The MANY times over the past 6 years when EP called for EU countries who haven't already recognized "indupendient kosovhaha***" to do so. How has that worked out for you? Not too well huh? Anyways as I recall: immediately before the Syrian refugee crisis, the big problem in the EU was K-Albo refugees (100,000 fled Kosovo i Metohija over a 6 month period in fact). While I would certainly welcome another such exodus of K-Albos to the EU, I seriously doubt the EU would facilitate that happening by abolishing visas. But it doesn't hurt to dream...

For the sake of argument, let's grant you that K-Albanians are indeed going to Gracanica to get Serbian passports, en masse.

Some obvious and immediate problems with that assertion;

We said it many times that we don't give a damn about third world countries like Palau and Burundi. All Dacic has done with those "revocations" is that he has bought himself some extra points with Serbia's money so his political career can last passed Serbia's recognition of Kosova. The flip-flopping of I recognize you one day and don't recognize the next day is a third world country "thing". No reputable country would do something like that.

P.S. imagine if every country in the world played these cheesy tactics of I recognize you one day but the next day I don't? It will be a complete chaos!

Not too well huh? Anyways as I recall: immediately before the Syrian refugee crisis, the big problem in the EU was K-Albo refugees (100,000 fled Kosovo i Metohija over a 6 month period in fact).

Of course not. That's why Albanians visit the Serbian visa office in Gracanica every week to apply for a Serbian passport so they can travel out of Kosovo never to return. Funny how they suddenly become Serbian citizens again the minute they have a job prospect in Germany.
(Navi, 29 March 2019 03:46)

For the sake of argument, let's grant you that K-Albanians are indeed going to Gracanica to get Serbian passports, en masse.

Some obvious and immediate problems with that assertion;
