It's amazing to me that the Albanians didn't commemorate the death of their 10,000 killed by West/NATO's bombing. I guess they have to stay quiet because the fight for the land grab isn't over yet. The double-headed eagle was adopted from Byzantine culture. The oldest depiction known is on the portrait of Miroslav of Hum dating to 1190.
Kastriot only started to use to the eagle during the formation of the league of Lezhë in 1444.
