As for Serbian forces retreating, that was after a signed agreement (after Russia got involved). Had Serbia signed the initial "ultimatum", US soldiers would be crawling all over Serbia today. Also UN res 1244 was signed that says Kosovo stays in Serbia. Thats when Serbian forces pulled out. So, nobody won that conflict, and you telling the world how the mighty KLA beat the Serbian army is just a lie. Had it not been for Nato the KLA would have been wiped out.
Of course the Albos now ignore what was signed (as always) and claim to have a country... No, Kosovo is Serbian land (see UN notes). Looks like this could blow up again but remember there will be no Nato to save you. Be careful what you wish for.

Rep Serbia should have done all of that. Kosovo must be aware they are in breach time after time.

I was youngest ever female local politician in entire Jugoslavija.
Frequently young Serbian girls were raped in KiM, dead Serbian bodies were digged out and robbed off gold, silver jewelry.
Homes torched.
Yes at regular meeting we were discussing events on Kosovo*.
Same goes to sending taxes to build this or that in kosovo*.

if the Albanians had only arrived from Albania after 1950s and onwards, why then would serbia have the need to literally draft colonization, expropriations and forced deportation programs for Kosova 50 years prior?

view from uk, once again, nato didnt send in ground troops to fight battles for Albanians. nato bombed serbian forces because the brave serbian army was using tanks and heavy weapons against unarmed civilians and Albanian fighters with ill equipped weaponry. at least the Albanians never gave up and continued the fight, meanwhile serbian army were forced to retreat after only 78 of bombing. serbia bombed Albanians for over 2 years and they still fought back... do you see the difference there? it's obvious you have no real knowledge of what it means to achieve military honor and glory.

I was youngest ever female local politician in entire Jugoslavija.
Frequently young Serbian girls were raped in KiM, dead Serbian bodies were digged out and robbed off gold, silver jewelry.
Homes torched.
Yes at regular meeting we were discussing events on Kosovo*.
Same goes to sending taxes to build this or that in kosovo*.

Resolution 1244 clearly stays kosovo*is rep Serbia.
And yes indeed any formation of any army that's not Kfor is forbidden. At same time resolution 1244 must say in the event of breach
Who enforces 1244 and what is punishment.
Normal thing would be to send a letter requesting an army is disbanded within say 14 days and amunition destroyed.
Rep Serbia should have done all of that. Kosovo must be aware they are in breach time after time.
Their constitution do not exist, their law and administration.
Basically its all wall to wall Re Serbia&KiM.
It's worth persuing who enforce breaches and its worth putting into the practice punishment.
