Before any hostilities broke out in B-H, Karadzic went to Izetbegovic and proposed dividing B-H along ethnic lines. At the urging of Warren Zimmerman, US Ambassador to Yugoslavia, Izetbegovic declined in favor of a unified B-H with him as its leader. Karadzic warned that Serbs would not be forced to live in a hostile state whose majority (Muslims and Croats) tried to wipe them off the face of the earth with their Nazi allies just 50 years earlier. Thus with the illegal secession of B-H and at the urging of the US, Great Britain and Germany, the Muslims and Croats chose war instead of a peaceful partition. And now, after 200,000 deaths on all sides and many more displaced, B-H is divided along ethnic lines similar to what Karadzic proposed with one difference: the Serbs now control more land than before the war and for all intents and purposes function as an independent country. Without question, Serbs were the winners in B-H. It's too bad the western controlled Hague tried Karadzic as opposed to an objective court. Long live Republika Srpska.

And what have the Albos got? Kosovo is a financial nightmare that only exits due to EU aid where parts of it are abandoned by the young who have gone to work and live in the EU. No industry or jobs there.
Serbia has kept the very best parts. It has rid itself of hangers-on like “rich” Croatia LOL. Now that same Croatia that Croats and Albos claimed sustained Yugoslvaia has had to reduce pensions and other government payouts, closure of Uljanik and 3 Maja while Plenkovic is running around the EU begging for money to keep them open.
With Republika Srpska Serbia has won outright – the leftovers are worthless. Look at the Slovenes; why do they stick with Serbia? How many times have the Slovene parliament convened joint sittings with the Serbian parliament????? I have lost count. They know that Serbia is the only one that has potential and sticking with them will be beneficial to them.
How many times have the Croats or Albos convened anything with anyone? Not once LOL.
