The Serbian National Assembly on Thursday passed amendments to the food safety law.

"A food safety council will also be established under the amended law". I hope that that won't be like the FDA in the US or the EFSA in the EU. These agencies are revolving doors with the biotech industry. Especially in the US the FDA approves GMO based on cherry picked data provided by biotech industry. The FDA has no own resources to test the GMO because it has been "deregulated" and people from the biotech industry go to head the FDA and vice versa.
