Sweetie this is March 2019 not 1989, and those German investments are there right NOW. Keep up with the times. From Continental Tyres, Leoni, ZF Germany, Siemens, Tonnies etc. I don’t have enough room to write all of the down.
Siemens alone is constructing a huge complex on 200 hectares it has purchased in Kragujevac. It now is employing 1000 now and when the complex is finished about 7,000 will be employed there alone.
If you have not worked it out yet in general Serbians do not want to join the EU. Its only Albanians who think it streets are paved in 24 carat gold. Ask the Croats how well things are going in the EU -Uljanik and 3 Maj would be a good start.
German high representatives have been going to Kosovo for years and nothing changes. Personally, I think the Germans are trying to sort these tariffs because it’s the EU which is meeting any Serbian or BiH shortfalls.
A word of advice. They would if they could, but they can’t so nothing will change but keep telling yourself it will if it makes you happy.
Ask the Germans if the will relocated VW production to Kosova.
