Betrayal along central Europe axis - France to vote against?

Well, this recent new Franco-German love affair didn't last very long...
Germany will finish that pipeline and will also build others. France is trying to block this not because of Russia but it will give German industry a clear advantage over French industry.

France has already rowed back down the creek. Spectacular.

This second pipeline is all about securing energy to Germany while the US wants Europe to buy their much more expensive gas. In fact it the cost of US in comparison to Russian gas is almost double.

The Germans have allowed the French to believe they have a say, but this is stepping on German toes and me thinks the French are going to get a very rude awakening.
