NSA says military conflict is possible in Balkans this year

The latest report by the US National Intelligence Agency, already discussed in the US Senate, mentions that there might be conflicts this year in the Balkans.

NSA probably knows that military conflict is possible in Balkans this year, because it is most probably organizing the war for its own interests. But, the most funny thing is that NSA/*USA navigate all around the world, but do not accept if someone, more precisely Russia or China do the same thing in America. There is a saying, " Don't do to the others what you don't want that the others do to you ". Fair enough.

I still don't understand the Santa question. My neighbors don't celebrate Santa Claus as we do in the States. If you were asking about the date of Sveti Nikola -- from whom the American tradition of 'Saint Nick' was partly drawn -- I "invited you" on the day of the celebration:

By the way...my irritation at chronic nepotism, systemic corruption, impractical political organization, and inefficient labor practices...is temporarily soothed by a steaming pot of pasulj well-seasoned with slanina or kobasica. Does your wife prepare you Hungarian goulash when you start ranting against "the system"?

JS is not Serbian nor does he live in Serbia. He has a good knowledge of parts of Serbia but so do most Albanians.
He was born in the US but decided to live in Serbia for “family” reasons and now owns 3 farms. Doing what? I know Serbian farmers who live off the land and its not easy. Then he asks the question how to prune plumb trees – owns farms but doesn’t know how to prune LOL, but JS has the internet and time on his hands since he also travels though out Serbia.
He complains and whines about Serbian conditions and its health system and that is fine, but why does he live there – that might be a hard question since living in the US may not be any better.
In short JS is talking BS and lives in an imaginary world.

As far as JS is concerned, I’m not sure if he is just slightly demented or a paid stooge making excuses for the US while pretending to live in Serbia. Perhaps it’s a little bit of both.
(sj, 1 February 2019 14:12)

Call me naive and maybe my offense was imperfect, but JS did repel all my attacks, except the Santa and the toilet inside of RZD car.

Aside these two (the toilet question probably overlooked by him) every single loaded and mean question I asked was answered perfectly, like a Serbian-resident American would.

I wouldn't take an oath on his behalf - but it looks more-less OK for me. At least no ordinary Kosovar would be able to answer these questions.

The most remarkable was the 3-year visa and the reaction of RZD conductor. The last one 100% matched the unspoken rule, how the newly introduced bending of 50-year protocol is made back straight without RZD management knowing it. Someone can't just make it up.

(JS, 1 February 2019 12:53) # C

The United States in America only interest in the Balkans is Camp Bondsteel and oil and gas shipping routes in that region and disrupting trade with Russia. They did not get a free pass for NATO through the former Yugoslavia thanks to Milosevic and decided to use the Albanian KLA terrorist as a proxy. The US is now beginning to realize that Albanian terrorist groups don’t make reliable partners.

This JS moniker is a fake agitator who claims to have some lineage with King Nikola of Montenegro among other fallacies such as ownership of the lease of land to camp bondsteel. You are a fake, an abhorration , illusion, imposter! Let you in on a secret, my grandfather was a diplomat and awarded postumously by King Nikola of Montenegro and King Alexander of Yugoslavia!

Mr royalty , you must have a personal line to the royal family in Belgrade. I have the mention JS the BS to my good friend Princess Elizabeth. (gregovik@msn.com, 1 February 2019 14:18)

The US economy is a WW2 war-based economy and was never returned to a civilian economy in 1945.
After WW2 Korea then Vietnam, skirmishes in the middle east then the Balkans, followed by Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and now Venezuela and after that Honduras and last Cuba.
US armament industries make fortunes when the US is at war. Yes, there is bad governance and the rest you mention in the Balkans, but it’s not much better in the US otherwise you would not have had 2008.
Wars always take people’s attention from domestic issues and the US economy is not doing as good as they keep on peddling. For example 85% of all jobs created in any quarter are still at the $7.50 to $12.50 an hour aka working poor wages.
So Washington keeps on lighting fires and when it get too hot pours water over them and the Balkans is the perfect place. I’m sure they will try something since Serbia is moving too fast in the right direction and leaving the rest for dead so a slowdown is in the plan. But this is not the 1990s.
As far as JS is concerned, I’m not sure if he is just slightly demented or a paid stooge making excuses for the US while pretending to live in Serbia. Perhaps it’s a little bit of both.

Just how will America become responsible for wars that start in the Balkans?

While it might be standard practice for every weak and inferior idiot to use the US as a propaganda tool to excuse bad governance, diplomacy, morality or ineptitude, would it not be better if politicians in the Balkans leant to sort things out with professional aplomb amongst themselves?

Just how will America become responsible for wars that start in the Balkans?

While it might be standard practice for every weak and inferior idiot to use the US as a propaganda tool to excuse bad governance, diplomacy, morality or ineptitude, would it not be better if politicians in the Balkans leant to sort things out with professional aplomb amongst themselves?

Who’s gonna fight? With all the bravado and sh!t talking that goes on the internet. People in the balkans are done fighting. Macedonia and Greece signed an historic agreement, Serbia and Albania have had excellent relations amongst each other regardless of the Kosovo issue. Bosnia and Herzegovina, looks more stable than ever. Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia don’t really bother getting involved in Balkan squabbles. Kosovo is a slow process but comprise will come on both sides. Montenegro is a nato partner and potential EU candidate and Croatia has become a shining example for its neighbours to follow. The only people looking for conflict in the balkans are the likes of Turkey, Russia, China and America. We need to preserve the peace and tell outside powers to p!$$ off.

The American terrorists are the worst in terms of quantity; out of 350 million people a whopping ten or fifteen Americans joined ISIS!

Exactly! But some folks are addicted to self-justification, always blaming someone else for their faults. Jugoslavija seems to be one of those guys.

Ah, you see that’s where you’re wrong, in all conflict and war zones it’s usually the people with the least to lose who usually lose the most.

so, does that mean you've come to the realization of reality and that y'all don't actually have kosovo, as most people on here try to remind you and your kin, but rather are temporarily occupying serbian land. when you lose what you didn't have then you've lost nothing. when there is nothing to lose, means you have nothing to be taken, or get lost.

@Ivan - I think my interest started when the Balkans was all over the news in the early 1990s when I was at school. Made me want to go to the former Yugoslavia and since my first visit in 2003 I've been about 15 times. I guess the Armenians and Serbs have a lot in common from living under the Ottomans.

I still don't understand the Santa question. My neighbors don't celebrate Santa Claus as we do in the States. If you were asking about the date of Sveti Nikola -- from whom the American tradition of 'Saint Nick' was partly drawn -- I "invited you" on the day of the celebration:

NSA probably knows that military conflict is possible in Balkans this year, because it is most probably organizing the war for its own interests. But, the most funny thing is that NSA/*USA navigate all around the world, but do not accept if someone, more precisely Russia or China do the same thing in America. There is a saying, " Don't do to the others what you don't want that the others do to you ". Fair enough.
