Does anyone know if Ramush was invited? If so, did he get a visa??? LOL...

The "Belt and Road" is a very expensive initiative, in Eurasia it is aimed to damage Russia, under the pretense of a problem of goods / passenger trans-shippig from 1435mm to 1520mm rail gauge.

In the reality there are two independent technologies: the Talgo (for passenger) and SUW-2000 for both passenger and freight.
Talgo is older but more costly because it requires special cars.
SUW-2000 was developed in GDR and Poland, it is essentially an (East) German technology.
It is less proven than Talgo but far more universal. It is used between Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania and between Georgia and Turkey.

With years to come the SUW-2000 will hopefully make the entire "Belt and Road" obsolete. The freight and passenger trains will need merely slow down before a special gate - than proceed with the adjusted wheels.

The cost of equipping the trains with such wheelsets is far less, than building new 1435mm rail network across Kazakhstan.
And where that rail network will lead? Into Iran. But there is a problem with trans-shipping everything on the lake Van in Turkey.
To avoid it, the rail should re-enter ex-USSR (Azerbaijan) and continue via Georgia.

And there it is: the SUW-2000 on the Georgian-Turkish border is already installed.

Why not install the same on all Chinese-Russian, Chinese-Kazakh borders? Than there is Nepal+India with Indian gauge and VietNam with 1 meter gauge. All fine with SUW-2000. AFAIK, Japan uses a similar technology for meter gauge 1435mm.
