Interestingly Serbs are far more religious than Russians.
Adjusted with ethnic background (non-Caucasian, primarily Russian-speaking or Estonian-speaking population)
Russians and Estonians are the least religious in Europe.
Hungarians are fairly close to that.
Religion is just something for the tradition and history.

I am unsure about Albanians in general. Their habits, culture and language are completely alien.
They are deeply hated in Vojvodina.
People just do not talk about it in English or Serbian.
Example what does upset many: the very first thing you see after you cross the border from Kelebia area to Kelebija is a mosque.
I am not a catholic, but if I would be an Albanian living in Vojvodina I would convert immediately.

The government granted me citizenship, so I shouldn't complain too much. But the way they shuttered Newsweek is disgraceful. When young people talk with me about Vucic, they are always careful not to send the comments via email, text message, or Viber/WhatsApp/Facebook for fear of reprisals. I can't say for sure why they fear the government. Beyond the miserable bureaucracy, I haven't suffered at the hands of this government. As a Christian, I want to be thankful for them and to pray for them.
The problem here is that Albanians jump on this news story as proof tht Serbs are bad or incapable or whatever. And then this pushes our resident ultranationalists (inevitably "Serbs" living abroad, even though this is an oxymoron) to side strongly with the current regime because in their narrow world there are only Serbs and non-Serbs; all Serbs being right and all non-Serbs being wrong (except, of course, for the "noble ones" who are foreigners but bless Serbian people). Thankfully there has been near silence from the ultranationalists. Hopefully the Albanian ultranationalists can find something better to do with their time than knock everything Serbian.

Seems like the Kosovo game is not distracting the Serbs on the ground anymore. As predicted, the Vucic regime is using the Kosovo story as distraction from domestic problems, but just like their strategy of blocking Kosovo in international organizations boomeranged with 100% tax plus army formation, so is the strategy of distracting from a bad domestic governance.
