My mama grew up across the street from the Sava River not far from Jasenovac, which we lost family members in, and said the river was red with blood as dead mutilated bodies of babies, elderly, women, children and men floated down the river. 😔 😢

The Croatians have Killed many civilian people in the death camps Not Just the the Serbians Jews gypsies and all other who they deem as non humans. What anger most People is those Croats who Claim that Nikola Tesla is Croatian, Knowing full well The Croatians are the ones Killed His Family they also destroyed Nikola Tesla Birth home and then rebuild it after the War. The Croats will never apologise for any of their crimes and the terrible harm they inflicted on others.

ou have thousands of videos showing serb crualty! Jasenovac was a crime! Srebrenica, Vukovar and Kosovo was also! Until you don't recognize, there will not be any peace, because the souls of the victims will not let happen!
(Realista, 18 December 2018 20:36)

Jasenovac was genocide, but Srebrenica Vukovar or Kosovo were not. Yes people were killed but there was never intent to exterminate Albanians, Bosniaks or Croats. But what about the Serbs Albanians killed?
The only time there will be peace is when Serbs get their territory back otherwise operation Kosovo ghetto is on going.

Denial is a sickness being displayed by both sides in these posts. Both sides represent Slavs from similar origins, yet their bigotry to each other is pathetic. Get over it.

Step one in that process is to acknowledge the sins done in your name. Jasenovac predates Srebrenica and probably in part was provoked the mind sets which lead to later murders.

Fortunately, Serbia has taken steps to address the issues of Srebrenica. While many are still unhappy with Serbia's attitudes, in practice there has been acknowledgement (note Vucic being booed off at a remembrance - but at least he was there).

Croatia is a country born in shame. No wonder they want to rewrite history.

I looked at the Google Maps street view of Jasenovac. For some reason they filmed in fog. I wonder if that was deliberate. I noted one house that looked like a bus-shelter was flying the Croatian flag - a flag I always view as being a flag of shame. I consider it evil to fly that flag anywhere near Jasenovac.

Croatia did not show adequate acknowledgement of the evils of Jasenovac before being allowed into the EU. I don't know if Croatia can clear its history. To a large extent Germany cleared its bad history - aided by total defeat at the end of WW2. Croatia has not had that cathartic experience.

How, when his father was a Serbian Orthodox priest and his mother was a daughter of a Serbian orthodox priest and Croatia didn't even exist then?
What makes him a Croat? Perhaps he converted to Catholic?
Maybe the Tesla exhibit in the US suggests that?

I am bending over backwards here trying to help you out with some plausible explanation but can't come up with anything.
Maybe you can tell us then.

Answer to all this reactions in my comment! Killing 8000 or 800 or 80000, when you do it because you hate that community, is a genocide! I think that you are or blind or stupid! A truck's with bodies of civilians were found in your rivers! Woman's, children's, elderly people! It's not me that I am saying it, it's from serb witness! Even under the asphalt of aeroport of batajnica they were buried! You have thousands of videos showing serb crualty! Jasenovac was a crime! Srebrenica, Vukovar and Kosovo was also! Until you don't recognize, there will not be any peace, because the souls of the victims will not let happen!

Mario, just by your name I see you're embarrassed to be Albanian - trying to sound like you're Italian, LOL.

Being that Tesla's father was a Serbian Orthodox priest makes your comment sound more idiotic than your name. In 1856, Croatia wasn't even a country, but a hopless group of nomads trying the belong to some Germanic tribe. You see this in your history even today - the Nazi thing and so on.

From Mario: "Tesla was btw a Croat."

Wrong Mario. Telsa's father was a Serbian priest. The Ustasha burned the family house down during WWII and the Croats did the same thing during the war of the 90s.

I guess when you don't have any heroes of your own, you have to try to claim Serb heroes. Let's see, Albanians steal Serb land and Croats steal Serb heroes...is there a pattern here? Jealously is a terrible thing.

Realistically speaking,I suppose he'll make a film about Srebrenica,Kosovo etc when something you could call genocide, like what occurred in Jasenovac, actually happens there. There's no doubt crimes were committed there but to put them in the same category as what happened in Jasenovac is naive and silly. Until then keep your insulting remarks to yourself and try to be a little more objective and apolitical if that's possible?

If Emir did make a film on those subject you mentioned it would be a work of fiction whereas Jasenovac actually occurred.

Realists, even a child knows these "supposed" massacres where staged by the Bosnians/West. It was proven over, and over again, by outside independent investigators, with no ties to any group in the region. Sorry bud, but adding a 100 dead copses to a crime seen and a few people in a grave hardly constitutes a massacre. You've been misled my the Western Powers and their Media. To try and compare a true genocide to a fictions massacre is ridiculous.

Tell it to Kolinda who continues to support Croatian policy to cover up the Croatian Ustase crimes against the Yugoslav people. Croatia likes to say Tesla is Croatian but do not have the names of his murdered parents in the Jasenovac memorial along with 700 thousand murdered civilians killed by the Croats in the most brutal barbaric acts of violence.
