"West was against open UNSC session" - Russian ambassador
Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Chepurin thinks it's important that <a href="https://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2018&mm=12&dd=17&nav_id=105768" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Monday's UN Security Council session</a> will be open to the public.
MY LAST WRITING IN B92. WARNING TO SERBIA AND KOSOVA 2019 AND 2020 IS GOING TO BRING THE BIGEST RECESSIONS IN THE WORLD. MANY COUNTRIES WILL FACE UPRISING AND UNRESTS PRICE OF FOOD AND GOODS WILL TRIPLE MONEY WILL LOSE VALUE. BALKAN COUNTRIES WITH THEIR WEAK ECONOMIES AND INFERIOR PRODUCTS DON'T HAVE ANY MARKET TO SELL BUT IN BALKANS IF THEY DON'T MAKE PEACE THEIR PEOPLE AND ECONOMIES WILL SUFFER. SO IF YOU MAKE A PEACE YOU WILL PROPSPER IF YOU CREATE CONFLICTS YOU WILL SUFFER. BY,BY NOW PEACE ….ARI
It would have been better for Serbia if the session had been closed. Nobody in the room heard anything new, so the statements by Vucic and Thaci were aimed at the "public."
Thaci ended the session with why there's no going back to Serbian control. He gave a list of the massacres committed against Albanian villages during the war - hundreds of men, women, children at a time, with no perpetrators ever having been brought to justice. Vucic couldn't look at him. People got up silently, maybe wondering how it was that Vucic had been trying to present Serbia as the victim here.

For how long?
Shining a light on what goes on is scary for the west. It's like cleansing sunlight to the vampire.
They prefer to work in the dark so they don't have to be seen how they truly are.
It's obvious Serbia isn't afraid of the sun. That says a lot.
"The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it."
Closed, open, it doesn’t matter and Chepurin knows this.
Everyone’s voice will be heard! Russia and Serbia pretend as if only Pro-Serb positions will be heard, but that’s not the case. There will be strong support for Kosova as well.
A bunch of people will gather, have coffee, smoke cigarettes and give speeches and then it’s over. Big deal.
Nothing will change on the ground as a result of this meeting.
With that said, Congratulations Kosova fighting for and winning your Army and not backing down in the face of Serbian and Russian resistance as well as EU disorganization. From now on moving forward that army will be built up from the ground with great weapons of NATO and excellent training and tactics...it’s already been happening for quite some time.
Serbian fantasies of forming paramilitary groups in the north secretly, or inserting Russian soldiers posing as civilians will be squashed! THAT is why Kosova is getting an Army, to prevent that type of nonsense from even getting off the ground.
I feel bad for the people of Bosnia, I truly do, but what Serbi did there will NEVER happen in Kosova. Kosovars learned from that mistake.
Then eventually Kosova will join NATO so it doesn’t matter how large their army is. Then perhaps reunification with Albania if the two countries want it. That is up to them to decide.
