"5 of Europe's 10 most polluted cities are in Balkans"

With the arrival of winter, Western Balkans countries are suffocating in smog of exhaust gases from very old cars and thousands of chimneys, AFP reports.

EXACTLY.

All trucks with license plates of these polluted countries should have to enter Serbia only on a temporary base, paying 10K or even 100K Euro / truck pollution fee.

That money should go into a special fund, set up to help Kosovo-Serbs.

The only exception would be trucks with license plates of a country which did not recognize Kosovo.

Within a week the entire EU - Middle East traffic would collapse.

Croatian, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Turkish freight forwarders would go out of business.

Good riddance of that rubbish.

The same time there would be more incentive for Chinese and Russian railroad builders across the Balkans, these polluting trucks could be put on the train, the drivers would sleep in economy sleeper car like kings.

Much better for everyone - and that "KosovA*" project would learn a little lesson or two, money going straight to Serbs, Russians and Chinese.

Serbia should tax these trucks to death, no mercy.
