Aleksandar Vucic has told Angela Merkel he believes the Regional Economic Zone and the Nis-Pristina highway is of great importance to the Western Balkans.

What Vucic is effectively doing, is begging Merkel to build a highway in Serbia, from Nish to Merdare. This is not a regional project; Kosova has already built a highway from Merdare to Prishtina and on to Morina and Albania has a new highway all the way to Durres. Kosova and Albania have no use for this "regional initiative". It's just a way for Vucic to put his hand in Merkel's purse.

Obviously the B92 platform does not support German diacritical marks... Hence read "Fuehrer" instead.

To use her authority... Interesting wording. The German Chancellor has authority in Serbia... including in its southernmost province of Kosovo and Mitochjia . The last time this happened I believe that the "Führer" was in power.
