You have to admire Dacic for his focus and persistence. This was clearly an uphill battle that nobody thought would amount to anything. However, Dacic, much like a pit bull, keeps coming back. And now with 6 revocations, more people are starting to question the validity of Kosovo as an independent state. If nothing else, he is proving to be a thorn in Thaci's, Pacolli's and Haridinaj's sides. At the very least, this will cost Kosovo millions to attempt to buy these recognitions back. At best, this domino effect will take hold and when one of the bigger countries reverses their decision, look out. This is another reason why the EU leadership wants an agreement on the Kosovo issue - if this movement continues to gain momentum, they will look very foolish. You go Dacic!

Not true. All countries which appeared after the collapse of SFRY are the (equal) successors, hence the long ownership negotiations about the common properties of SFRY abroad.

According to the UN, Serbia did not have to apply to become a member and the UN accepted Serbia as the successor to the Federated Republic of Yugoslavia.
