Irinej is no Pavle, who was a great and honorable man and Church leader, who sought peace between all people and religions. Pavle is still missed. Too often Irinej is provocative and insensitive. I feel no "holiness" from him.

I believe that he wants the Uniate (Papist) Ukrainian Church , whose existence was due to Poland-Lithuania occupying western Ukraine, to rejoin it's Orthodox brothers and sisters in the east.
