You're not getting enough funds from the EU just because they opened negotiations with you, otherwise your economic projections for the next years from IMF or WB would not be the same as Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia or Macedonia. If you were getting big funds, your projections would be triple or quadruple those of neighboring non-negotiating countries that don't have such supposed injections of money. This is probably because the EU is not releasing those funds without making sure you're serious about joining them, and the only way to really prove it is by recognizing Kosovo. Otherwise you won't get the funds, and they might not even open new chapters.

Serbia requires infrastructure funds and they are getting it. As far as the IMF or WB are concerned, well they are US run institutions and they do some voodoo economics.
Croatia gets EU funds in fact Zagreb puts in 1 billion euros and takes out 3 billion euros annually, but its population has now dropped to under 4 million because people are leaving for work outside Croatia. Yet the Croat parliament claims the minimum wage is US$20,000.
Most IMF or WB economic projections depend on whether you piss in the US pocket or not. China has 12% debt to GDP; it has over $4.5 trillion in reserve plus huge reserves of gold and yet these two bodies claim China’s debt is a problem, but not the US with a debt to GDP of 128%. It has freedom and democracy protecting the US debt from damaging them.

There is no other solution for Kosovo other than the one established 10 years ago. Other than the West agreeing to a territorial exchange North Kosovo for South Serbia or digging in deeper by agreeing to a Kosovo-Albania merger, there really can’t be any other solution. Kosovo is not going back to Serbia, mainly because it’s not just about a map switch, but people on the ground would go wild and start another war. Diplomatically it would also be a big nightmare having the entire Albanian space plus their sizable diaspora go nuts overnight. The best deal for Serbia would be a territory swap, the worst would be Kosovo-Albania merging. Recognition of the current reality is actually the compromise solution that Serbia is seeking but not realizing.

So you are claiming that IMF/WB forge GDP data and make countries look poorer than they actually are? Is Liberia richer than Switzerland? LOL, get real, all Balkan countries are getting infrastructure funds. But the type of funds that negotiating countries have gotten, they are not being received, otherwise the projections would be different. And I doubt Russian or Chinese institutions would give you a higher per capita or better projections than the IMF/WB are giving you.

Not all Balkan countries are getting the same amount. It all depends on what the EU sees as important. China is investing $5 to $6 billion as part of its Belt and Road project in Europe and it will spend the largest portion of that in Serbia.
The new Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank was established in 2016, China and Russia, has lent more for projects than both the IMF and WB combined since it commenced business, and continues to outstrip these US controlled institutions. You need to keep up to date mate.
What does Switzerland have to do with the Balkans? Of course, the IMF and WB manipulate GDP data, and point the finger at countries that don’t have “democracy” or don’t bend to their way LOL.
