Rest assured that all of the soldiers involved on the Abu Graihb in Iraq were either convicted, either dismissed from the military. Dishonorably.
This is in contrast with Serbia where not only war criminals are celebrated as heroes, they are offered honorable positions to teach at military academies. Even when convicted for horrible crimes their sentences are less for murder than someone else for theft.
No country is perfect, let alone USA, but for someone whose nation has generated more war criminals per capita than any other country in Europe in the last 50 years, you surely have a big mouth.

The United States is a great defender of Human Rights don't you know!!!??

The United States has gone all over the world and bombed many countries and killed many people in the name of Human Rights!

Now that the United States has decided to leave the Human Rights Council of the UN, I wonder if all the bombings all around the world in the name of "defending human rights" will end too?

Now...if we can only get people to understand, there is NO SUCH THING AS A CIVIL war. All wars are ruthless and barbaric and people die needlessly.

Keep that all in mind before anyone decides to go to war any time soon.

The US has always been at the forefront of the protection of human rights around the world and has for many years been a strong partner for the European Union in the Human Rights Council,"

Is this the same US that conducted itself disgracefully in Abu Grahib prison in Iraq? Where they had that guy stand on a box with a hood over his head, hands spread out like he was on a cross? Or perhaps the CIA’s water boarding humanitarian tactics.
The we go to the US where peaceful demonstrators against killing of blacks were shot at by the police or had tear gas fired into the groups? Real humanitarian or is it the little illegal migrant children being separated from parents?
The reality is this; every month the US would stand on its pulpit in the UN and preach about human rights, calling all violators and abusers except itself and Israel. It was known as the US comedy hour because it was hard not to laugh.
Today, no one listens to the US and just ignores Washington, so the US clowns take their ball and go home. Many have said good riddance.
