Kosovo problem should be solved quickly - German ambassador

Before to joining the EU, Serbia has to solve the problem with Kosovo, and a quick solution would be good for everyone.

If 6 countries came out of yugoslavia and Kosovo is the 7th why wouldn’t they recognize it. When the Serbs knew that yugoslavia was falling apart they went to war with many of the countries. (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and they declared independence because they fought and they didn’t want to get controlled under some fucked up goverment. Then Kosovo wanted to declare its independence and now Serbs don’t let them because its there mother land? What the fuck is that if the majority is Albanian and less then 10% is Serbian why won’t you recognize it. The Serbs just found Kosovo small and they don’t have an army yet because if they did Serbs will recognize Kosovo just like the other countries and not make an sound. Im an American journalist and I’ve been in Kosovo during the war and in Bosnia. It was awful to see what the Serbs did. Serbia just wants to make up some bull shit.

There are a lot of ifs here, but you go for it and have Serbia removed from the UN. Its too hard for you to understand why Serbia did not have to apply, but one thing I know Kosovo will NEVER get to sit there LOL.

One is enough but five is even better. The EU hates division and it only has itself to blame. In the UN we have two permanent security council members although one would be enough.

Enjoy the frozen conflict. As for EU membership, no-one in Serbia is expecting it anytime soon or perhaps never, we'll just keep spending accession funds. Oh, and Kosovo recognition will not happen, nor will it be admitted into the UN, live with it.

Nope. Its better this way. Kosovo is a frozen conflict and that is that. If all the nations on this earth recognized Kosovo, and there are serious doubt about many of those "recognitions" you still need Serbia to acquiesce and that's not happening ever. kosovo is not more than an american base, it is a hijacked land to control and to surveil balkans, government is a puppet and people are not free there, I believe they will be recognized by serbia in the future to enter EU, that seems to be reality in future, even though it is unacceptable by serbians

So Herr Dittmann, Germany’s invasion of Russia during WW2 was all due to unresolved border disputes? Or was it invasion of the then Yugoslavia and Greece also a border dispute? Or was it Germany’s desire to rule all of Europe?

There was the border dispute between Slovenia and Croatia. In fact, Croatia has not settled borders with Serbia or BiH and yet it’s in the EU.
Perhaps Herr Dittmann should study some history before opening mouth????
If no one has bothered to tell this German, then it’s time to spell it out. These talks are all going according to Belgrade’s desires. They can continue going around in circles for the next 20 years – Serbia has all the time in the world and no one will open a can of Coke in Kosovo since its disputed territory LOL.
Even if Serbia finalised talks with Kosovo tomorrow it would not get into the EU before 2030 at the earliest. The EU economy is not improving, and printing of money is continuing until December 2018. Until the economy improves no more members.

Sorry, frozen conflicts aren't solved "quickly". It took BRD more than twenty years to tacitly recognize the existence of DDR. And DDR was at least a sovereign state. Kosovo is not.

The quickest way to solve problem, is for the Serbs to bend over the barrel so that they can be screwed even more.THAT IS WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE.
If everybody would keep their noses out i am sure the Serbs and Albanians would work it out really quick.

Dear Dittmann, sorry to spill the beans but you already have a problem. Some EU members recognise the UDI and others do not. You should have thought about that before dividing the EU/NATO and the world with this ill-thought-out "Kosova"*** independence stillbirth.

Well, Germany of course knows everything about unresolved border issues. Through "Drang nach Osten" they tried to resolve that and that led to another border issue. The one between West and East Germany. And after the reunification, Germany then tried to raise another unresolved border issue (which was actually resolved after WWI) namely opening talks with Poland about their border with Germany. Needless to say, Poland as well as the allies got a bit angry about that. Then Germany was very instrumental in opening up borders in Yugoslavia (aka breaking up Yugoslavia) and here are we now.
There are plenty of other border disputes in Europe. Between Slovenia and Croatia for example. The Catalans are not so happy about their border with Spain, etc. So is Germany going to put pressure on these countries as well?
Anyway, Seehofer gave Merkel two weeks to resolve the migrant crisis Europe-wide before he pulls the plug on the CDU-CSU coalition. Well good luck with that, Angela. "I can't work with that woman anymore", he said.
Her unilateral policy of "Wir schaffen das" led to the inflow of millions of people and they are not integrating well. Germany has a tendency to do things unilaterally without consulting her European partners.
And before you know it, the German government falls and this ambassador could be out of a job.

Well, Germany of course knows everything about unresolved border issues. Through "Drang nach Osten" they tried to resolve that and that led to another border issue. The one between West and East Germany. And after the reunification, Germany then tried to raise another unresolved border issue (which was actually resolved after WWI) namely opening talks with Poland about their border with Germany. Needless to say, Poland as well as the allies got a bit angry about that. Then Germany was very instrumental in opening up borders in Yugoslavia (aka breaking up Yugoslavia) and here are we now.
There are plenty of other border disputes in Europe. Between Slovenia and Croatia for example. The Catalans are not so happy about their border with Spain, etc. So is Germany going to put pressure on these countries as well?
Anyway, Seehofer gave Merkel two weeks to resolve the migrant crisis Europe-wide before he pulls the plug on the CDU-CSU coalition. Well good luck with that, Angela. "I can't work with that woman anymore", he said.

Some members=23 Twenty three members recognize Republic of Kosovo ,including Great Britain,France,Germany,Italy etc

So Herr Dittmann, Germany’s invasion of Russia during WW2 was all due to unresolved border disputes? Or was it invasion of the then Yugoslavia and Greece also a border dispute? Or was it Germany’s desire to rule all of Europe?

There was the border dispute between Slovenia and Croatia. In fact, Croatia has not settled borders with Serbia or BiH and yet it’s in the EU.
Perhaps Herr Dittmann should study some history before opening mouth????
If no one has bothered to tell this German, then it’s time to spell it out. These talks are all going according to Belgrade’s desires. They can continue going around in circles for the next 20 years – Serbia has all the time in the world and no one will open a can of Coke in Kosovo since its disputed territory LOL.
Even if Serbia finalised talks with Kosovo tomorrow it would not get into the EU before 2030 at the earliest. The EU economy is not improving, and printing of money is continuing until December 2018. Until the economy improves no more members.

kosovo is not more than an american base, it is a hijacked land to control and to surveil balkans, government is a puppet and people are not free there, I believe they will be recognized by serbia in the future to enter EU, that seems to be reality in future, even though it is unacceptable by serbians

Nope. Its better this way. Kosovo is a frozen conflict and that is that. If all the nations on this earth recognized Kosovo, and there are serious doubt about many of those "recognitions" you still need Serbia to acquiesce and that's not happening ever. You play the game our way or you sit and rot.

One is enough but five is even better. The EU hates division and it only has itself to blame. In the UN we have two permanent security council members although one would be enough.

Enjoy the frozen conflict. As for EU membership, no-one in Serbia is expecting it anytime soon or perhaps never, we'll just keep spending accession funds. Oh, and Kosovo recognition will not happen, nor will it be admitted into the UN, live with it.

Sorry, frozen conflicts aren't solved "quickly". It took BRD more than twenty years to tacitly recognize the existence of DDR. And DDR was at least a sovereign state. Kosovo is not.

If 6 countries came out of yugoslavia and Kosovo is the 7th why wouldn’t they recognize it. When the Serbs knew that yugoslavia was falling apart they went to war with many of the countries. (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and they declared independence because they fought and they didn’t want to get controlled under some fucked up goverment. Then Kosovo wanted to declare its independence and now Serbs don’t let them because its there mother land? What the fuck is that if the majority is Albanian and less then 10% is Serbian why won’t you recognize it. The Serbs just found Kosovo small and they don’t have an army yet because if they did Serbs will recognize Kosovo just like the other countries and not make an sound. Im an American journalist and I’ve been in Kosovo during the war and in Bosnia. It was awful to see what the Serbs did. Serbia just wants to make up some bull shit.

Sj if I was FM of Kosova I would lead an international campaign of justice by visiting every country to revoke Serbia’s unjustified recognition.

Serbia 🇷🇸 slipped into Yugoslavia’s UN seat when like everyone else must be made to apply to the UN on their own merits ....
