"Actually this is historically fact. I did not make it up, but as a Serb once posted on B92 the hardest thing to do is to try and show a stupid person they are stupid..."

We realize this. An "investment banker" from Australia keeps arguing with an imaginary Albanian. Couldn't get any funnier! :)

"Like the funny about Kosovo being on the same level as the rest of Serbia LOL. One of the greatest miracles; no industry or tourism with unemployment over 40% and yet this miracle."

This applies equally to central and southern Serbia, so what's your point, Mr. Investment Banker?

Actually this is historically fact. I did not make it up, but as a Serb once posted on B92 the hardest thing to do is to try and show a stupid person they are stupid. I must admit you are the best so far – you don’t know what you are talking about but happy to continue.

"As I said your posts are nonsensical but, but devoid of any knowledge of history or political facts."

You are like Dragoljub. You think that because some Croatians were fascists, therefore Croatians are considerably more evil than other people, especially your "holy-chosen-nation" Serbs. And if I had learned this "lesson" then I would know to hate Croatians. This is your type of "historical knowledge." But reality is like David wrote in the Psalms and the Apostle Paul quoted in Romans 3:

"“There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes."

"Are you aware that the US put both Saddam Hussein of Iraq and the Assad family of Syria into power????"

In your mind, everything is done by the United States. But that's your problem, not mine.

"JS, I can see your brain has been fried by CNN and BBC. The US president calls them fake news."

I agree that CNN and BBC are extremely slanted. They are continuously pushing a super liberal agenda, and are very selective in what they write about. They have a big impact on public opinion, and in a very negative direction.

The problem is that Sputnik and others are just as much propaganda machines; just pushing public opinion in another direction with probably equally dishonest "journalism."

Yugoslavia's break up was imminent. If only politicians from both sides of the realm had made it happen on better terms. History repeats itself. Every nation tries to manipulate the weaker states.

"Everything about Kosovo is exaggeration my little Albo. Look at Croatia where they claim the minimum annual salary is US$20,587, but 50,000 Croats left Croatia in 2017. Its PPP is $24,000 but still thousands left. In 2016 40,000 lost their jobs and in 2017 it was 60,000."

And everything in Serbia is exaggerated. I have gone through the statistics published by the Serbian government and talked with neighbors about the numbers and they do not reasonably match how many people actually and what amount people actually earn. It is the same everywhere: governments strongly tend to inflate statistics. So I don't see your point.

"Instead of ranting on about the same as central Serbia, I asked how do your Kosovars make a living since there is no industry? Come on little Albo answer the question. How do they earn money apart from drug trafficking?????"

Still trying to discredit me by calling me an Albanian.

I live in Serbia, work in Serbia, raise a family in Serbia, welcome foreign guests to Serbia, work with my Serbian neighbors, cultivate my land and cut firewood in Serbia....while you sit in your office chair in a western country debating with non-existent Albanians. You are the envy of the world!

(JS, 11 June 2018 22:33)

JS, yet oddly you make the same exaggeration when comparing Kosovo to Serbia."

First, Kosovo is 8.4 times richer than Somalia. That is a big difference from the 1.46 times that Serbia is richer than Kosovo.

But we need to keep in mind Peggy's overwhelming wisdom when she reminds us that a real Serb isn't just a person who lives in Serbia (even for generations), speaks the language, and has the citizenship and passport...so that disqualifies nearly everyone in Vojvodina, the most prosperous part of the country. So, keeping ultranationalism in mind, yes "real Serbia" probably has the exact same GDP per capita as Kosovo.

So what are you ultranationalists squawking about?

Here are only a small portion of those “magical” investments by outside companies.

Zumtobel, Zopapas, Continental Tyres, Leoni, Chandry Group, Perutnna, JB Soulier, Tonnies, Ikea, Siemens, JLB Soulier; Blue Sky, Schneider Electrics, Turkish textile plants, Mei Ta, Vorwerk Autotec, TAFE.

Then there is Rakita Exploration [Canadian Nevsun (Resources)] and BHPBilliton.

Instead of ranting on about the same as central Serbia, I asked how do your Kosovars make a living since there is no industry? Come on little Albo answer the question. How do they earn money apart from drug trafficking?????

China changed from pure communism under Deng Xiaoping because the old system did not work. It had nothing to do with the west. The current Chinese economy is EXACTLY the same as it was during Clinton’s time.

When they quote that the US has only 4.1% unemployed even Trump does not believe it.

Kosovo’s growth last year was 4% and this year its projected to rise to 4.8%. How does it achieve that when there is no industry????

Note that when our little Albo, who poses as a “Serb”, can’t debate its back to the Russian troll farm LOL.

"How do your Kosovars make a living since there is no industry there? And you reply “The same way most Serbs earn an income”. In Kosovo farming is very limited and government jobs are scarce, so what do they do apart from traffic in drugs???…??"

It's the same in central and southern Serbia so I don't know what you have to brag about, especially since you aren't a real Serb anyways.

"...everything was staged from Rambouillet to Racak."

This is normally called a conspiracy theory.

"The US was hell bent on bombing Serbia, it didn't matter what Serbs did, we were the "bad guys" and that was that."

I never met a single person during the more than three decades that I lived in the United States who could be considered "hell bent" on bombing Serbia.

"...it didn't matter what Serbs did, we were the "bad guys" and that was that. Much like the Iraqis and the invasion they experienced using false information as justification."

The US military toppled Saddam's corrupt regime. It was not an attack on civilians. Yes, radical Muslims resisted the invasion but they're the same people you call terrorists so I don't see the point of your criticism of the US invasion.

"...calling me a radical Serb just puts you in the same boat as the radical Albanians."

Acting like a radical Serb nationalist puts a person in the same boat as a radical Albanian, radical Croatian, or radical whatever.

"It's the US and Albanians that are not interested, which is why I'm laughing. With reconciliation comes truth and do you really expect the truth to come out?"

Why wouldn't I want it to? I am not a nationalist of any type. I have nothing to defend.

"All Empires behave in the same manner and the US is no better or worse."

Then why do you rant and rave like a madman?

"Why did the US go into Iraq? Or why is the US involved in Syria? Most interested to hear your reply."

In Iraq, to topple a dictator. In Syria, for humanitarian purposes. But the US is barely engaged in Syria. If they had fully engaged like in Iraq, they would have crushed the Assad regime in no time flat. But the US took it easy because there isn't any purpose in getting in the middle of an inter-Islamic war. You are obviously missing the big picture, like I already mentioned, Victoria Nuland stated back in 2016 that the US had been investing in Kosovo's independence for 20 years, meaning starting back in 1995/6. It didn't matter what the Serbs did, it was obvious the US was working with Albanians to achieve their goal and looking at events, it's obvious, at least to those paying attention, that everything was staged from Rambouillet to Racak. The US was hell bent on bombing Serbia, it didn't matter what Serbs did, we were the "bad guys" and that was that. Much like the Iraqis and the invasion they experienced using false information as justification.

As for reconciliation, calling me a radical Serb just puts you in the same boat as the radical Albanians. It's not me who doesn't want reconciliation, I've called for it many time. It's the US and Albanians that are not interested, which is why I'm laughing. With reconciliation comes truth and do you really expect the truth to come out?

Ummm, there was no civil war. Kosovo had OSCE observers on the ground, reporting lots of terrorist activity by the KLA, but otherwise it was relatively peaceful. Serbia was given an ultimatum, sign Rambouillet or else and then came the Racak hoax. All Albanians were in Kosovo until NATO start dropping bombs, and then the fake news press worked overtime, trying to blame the Serbs for all seeking refugee status in the west.

But look, we know all about the fake news press, even the US president keep reminding us. Same culprits, CNN, BBC, etc...

But look, the US has been investing in Kosovo's independence since about 1995/96 so who is to blame? Check -> https://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2016&mm=07&dd=14&nav_id=98620

What's ironic is that Albanians love the west, do everything they ask and when they try to migrate, they keep getting sent back. They have no EU perspective and no investments coming from those they love. Why does "evil" Serbia keep getting everything? LOL!

If the US joins, so will Russia, no doubt about that. The whole negotiation process is a complete joke, there is no point continuing when Albanians can't even commit to the agreement. Spain and a few EU members are now causing problems. Might as well take it back to the UN.

I am doubtful an agreement will come forth. As far as I'm concerned, the frozen conflict stays until the geopolitical situation is firmly in Serbia's favour. Looking at the way the western alliance is falling apart, I don't think it's too far away, thus the rush (from the west) to get some kind of agreement.

Ummm, there was no civil war. Kosovo had OSCE observers on the ground, reporting lots of terrorist activity by the KLA, but otherwise it was relatively peaceful.

China changed from pure communism under Deng Xiaoping because the old system did not work. It had nothing to do with the west. The current Chinese economy is EXACTLY the same as it was during Clinton’s time.
Everything about Kosovo is exaggeration my little Albo. Look at Croatia where they claim the minimum annual salary is US$20,587, but 50,000 Croats left Croatia in 2017. Its PPP is $24,000 but still thousands left. In 2016 40,000 lost their jobs and in 2017 it was 60,000.

When they quote that the US has only 4.1% unemployed even Trump does not believe it.

Ahh our resident Italian Albo has difficulties in English. Well I’ll see if I can make it as simple as him so even he can understand.

I went to Kosovo in 2015.

I have seen a dozen times where mines/mineral deposits are sold by a country and the local people hope that the mine will provide employment to locals only to have the new owners bring in outside crews on fourteen-day rotation and locals get nothing.

Meanwhile the new owners of the mine bribe local politicians and there are no problems.

Now name all the industries the west opened in Kosovo to date.

You only needed to open your eyes to see all the new buildings.

"Living standards are one of the worst in the world since there are no jobs."

Exaggeration. One of the worst in Europe, not the world. But I see you learned quickly when you were trained in the Russian troll farm.

"What people like you don’t understand is that Kosovars never had a chance to start off with mate. The west is only interested in the Russians influence in the Balkans – they don’t give a flying fig about anything else."

Not everyone is obsessed with Russia and the US like you...

"Once the assets come on sale it’s all over red rover. Minerals will be mined by fly-in/fly-out crews and bribe money will put into your politicians’ pockets while the rest live off money sent in by relatives working in the EU."

And you would probably also say the US invaded Afghanistan for the oil and to control the railroad system...

"Now if I am wrong please name all the industries the west opened in Kosovo to date."

It isn't the responsibility of a foreign country to set up industries. The only purpose I know of for US intervention in Kosovo is to stop the civil war and deal with the behavior of Milosević.

If the so called dialogue is a dictat to Serbia and requires no concession from the criminal bigots in Pristina, why are the latter so concerned about format and advisers?
Further, perhaps someone should ask the South Vietnamese, Georgians, Kurds, ISIL, Kashmir Pakistanese, Koreans, et al, on the extent of back-stabbing support one may expect from the USA.

So, since you are adamant that you have seen it happening a dozen times - as you said it at least twice - and you have also seen the owners bring in outside crews - as you put it - on 14 day rotation, then, for you to be fully sure you are not BS-ing us, you MUST have steared at the mines/mineral deposits - to use your words - at least 12 cycles of 14 day each. So, you have gazed at this phenomenon in Kosova for 168 days.

Kosovo’s growth last year was 4% and this year its projected to rise to 4.8%. How does it achieve that when there is no industry????
