That's because Serbians living in Croatia consider themselves citizens of Croatia but it's not all rosy as Croatians have restrictions on working within the EU, much like the Romanians and Bulgarians had. That's why there are none in the desirable UK, Switzerland and other member states.

There is no such thing as a Serbian passport in '99. And the current state of Kosovo/a didn’t exist back then, so the only passport Kosovar Albanians could get their hands on was the blue “Yugoslav” passport (or the red SFR Yugoslavia in the early 90’s). If one is going to make a point, at least use some basic, and easily accessible facts.
Serbian passports came into existence after the dissolution of the union of Serbia and Montenegro in '06 (though I am not sure when the Serbian passports were first issued – irrelevant to the above point).

As to the story that Kosovar citizens are procuring Serbian passports – I ask, why not if done in a legal manner? There aren’t many countries whose passport I would refuse if it gave me advantages to make my life easier/better.
While for Kosovars (specifically, ethnic Albanians) it would make more sense to try the Albanian passport route (since they can use that to travel visa free, as opposed to the Serbian ones issued by the “Koordinaiona Uprava”, which they cannot), if it means they get to do business in Serbia without being harassed as much, I say go for it. That, or traveling to Russia and China visa-free.

But if it helps you sleep better at night, then by all means gloat. Since no one else is doing it, at least you stroke your own ego, to feel better or whatnot.

And Serbia should grant all of its southern citizens Serbian citizenship. As long as they sign a declaration stating their loyalty to Serbia and not any separatist institutions.

The simple explanation is that Serbian passports are easy to get for Kosovo Albanians, since Serbia considers Kosovo part of Serbia :)

Kosovo is too over-populated and growing fast, too many people in a small area. More Albanians should get Serbian passports and return in their ancestral lands in Nish and Sanxhak. Sorry, Albanians aren't settling in Nis or Sandzak. They're travelling through them in order to get into Central Europe. Why would they want to live in Central Serbia when you didn't settle there? Albanians want to get out of the region. That's why they wanted Kosovo independence because they foolishly thought they'd be in the EU now. Now they're getting Serbian passports to travel to the EU. Maybe Germany and is their ancestral land since they're going there all the time.

What counts is what is left in your pocket at end of month , when bills, food and experience are taken out.
I would prefer to live in Switzerland with 5000 USA dollars wageper month then with 1600 USA dollars wage a month in say Michigan State or Mississippi State (tent City).
I been to both USA and Switzerland to know what's better .
As well ,Serbs from Switzerland are home in Serbia at lest 4 to 8 times a year for visit.

And that's ten times as much as the average wage of an adult in southern Serbia. The cost of living in the US is probably double the cost of living. So do the math...even a basic wage earner in the US is several times better off.

First rule is never convert dollars to dinars while working in the US since cost of living in the US is much higher than in Serbia. Its like comparing apples with oranges. And most importantly stop listening to people living in the US who visit home and boast to their families about their wealth and convert their wages to dinars to impress when in fact they are only working menial jobs for low wages.

I was in the US in September and October 2017, so I know what I am talking about and jobs at $12.50 or $15 an hour are for low paid work. The last time I looked that $15 per hour is pie in the sky stuff since big business are against it despite all those demonstrations by employees from MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut etc.

Workers in the US have not received a proper wage rise in 35 years. What little wage rises have been given have not kept up with inflation.

Those monthly jobs the US government crows about are either low paid work or short term casual jobs. What you need in the US are permanent jobs at US$35 or $40 per hour.

Majority of Serbia that want to leave are going to Sweden,Switzerland,Austria ,Australia ,New Zealand,China and Russia (in gas and oil fields ). Very little are wanting to leave in USA and Britain .

Kosovo is too over-populated and growing fast, too many people in a small area. More Albanians should get Serbian passports and return in their ancestral lands in Nish and Sanxhak. Kosovo's borders are not settled yet. As long as Serbia doesn't recognize Kosovo, it's all fair game. Make them pay for their stupidity!

Sorry, Albanians aren't settling in Nis or Sandzak. They're travelling through them in order to get into Central Europe. Why would they want to live in Central Serbia when you didn't settle there? Albanians want to get out of the region. That's why they wanted Kosovo independence because they foolishly thought they'd be in the EU now. Now they're getting Serbian passports to travel to the EU. Maybe Germany and is their ancestral land since they're going there all the time.

First rule is never convert dollars to dinars while working in the US since cost of living in the US is much higher than in Serbia. Its like comparing apples with oranges. And most importantly stop listening to people living in the US who visit home and boast to their families about their wealth and convert their wages to dinars to impress when in fact they are only working menial jobs for low wages.

I was in the US in September and October 2017, so I know what I am talking about and jobs at $12.50 or $15 an hour are for low paid work. The last time I looked that $15 per hour is pie in the sky stuff since big business are against it despite all those demonstrations by employees from MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut etc.

Workers in the US have not received a proper wage rise in 35 years. What little wage rises have been given have not kept up with inflation.

Those monthly jobs the US government crows about are either low paid work or short term casual jobs. What you need in the US are permanent jobs at US$35 or $40 per hour.

What about the cost of living ??
They pay rent in USA and in Serbia , like rest of Balkans live at home and pay NO rent.
Food (healthy) cost a lot more than Serbia .Serbia and Balkans have the cheapest healthy (organic) food in Europe .
Remember people in USA do not sleep in parks and eat fresh Air ))).
What counts is what is left in your pocket at end of month , when bills, food and experience are taken out.
I would prefer to live in Switzerland with 5000 USA dollars wageper month then with 1600 USA dollars wage a month in say Michigan State or Mississippi State (tent City).
I been to both USA and Switzerland to know what's better .
As well ,Serbs from Switzerland are home in Serbia at lest 4 to 8 times a year for visit.

And that's ten times as much as the average wage of an adult in southern Serbia. The cost of living in the US is probably double the cost of living. So do the math...even a basic wage earner in the US is several times better off.
