From what I have seen, the only failures in the EU are Romania, and to a lesser extent, Croatia.

Croatia and Romania both have weaker economic cases than Bulgaria, which is why it will take them many years longer to join the Euro than Bulgaria. Romania has a budget deficit that is out of control and has a big possibility to become the next Greece, a complete failure. Romanian growth is slowing down rapidly yet they are still running deficits. Romania is looking really bad and in the worst shape financially and developmentally in the EU.

Croatia is much better, growth isn't high, but much better financials than Romania.

Bulgaria is much better than both, with steady 4% growth and constant budget surplus (considering running deficits is intelligently unconstitutional in Bulgaria). Constant and steady wage growth (more than 10% increase every year). Bulgaria is the leader of the Balkans and is the model to follow for Serbia, they are way ahead of us. What you said, adrian, is ridiculous and you are very misinformed.

Keep in mind, I say this as a Serb.

Hilariously ironic that the president of Serbia, the country known to be historically the biggest backstabber on the Balkans, would talk about backstabbing.

Try getting investments and jobs, try putting food on tables... yet here you are all giddily about “shaking” hands and sitting at “same” table with Vucic...funny definition of “success”;)
Pathetic!

It's not that you don't want to stab Bulgaria in the back because you already did that in the early 1900s, when Serbia stole a large swath of Bulgarian land that is currently called Macedonia!!!
Plus, Vucic understands that The Republic Of Kosova is a reality that he and Serbia cannot hide from forever, he understands that if Serbia keeps burying its hard in the sand Serbia will not get anywhere!

Bulgaria is a shame as European Union country https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_average_wage

average net salary in march in Bulgaria was 439 euro , in Bosnia in january 2018 average net salary was 445 euro ,in Serbia in January average net salary was 422 euro . In this link it say for each country but different months . In Albania average net salary was 378 euro

Is a shame Bulgaria , what is the difference betwen Bulgaria and former Yugoslavia ?

Bulgaria memember of Union European + without wars and is in the same boat with Serbia and Bosnia

Not that Romania is with a lot better than Bulgaria but at least Romania develop
