Cancer occurrance increases with age. Older you get bigger the chances become to develop cancer.

The average age of Serbs is significantly higher then the average age of Albanians and it is getting higher by the day due to negative natality rate among Serbs. This is the main reason why the cancer occurrance rate is on the rise in Serbia and is supported by numerous scientific researches done around the world. Surely, poor food quality, widespread alcohol consumption and massive smoking culture adds to it too.

To blame the NATO bombing with depleted uranium ammunition for 20000 new cancer cases per year in Serbia is at least unwise and charlatanism especially when the authorities in Serbia know perfectly well that there was never a single thorough and unbiased research into this matter to substantiate their claim.

There is no scientific proof from the ground that there is a positive correlation between the usage of the depleted uranium ammunition during the NATO bombing in 1999 and cancer rate occurrance increase in Serbia in the years following the NATO bombing.

Just before the professionaly overloaded Serbs jump on me and assign me thing I never said - as they usually do - if any research gets done and if the results are clearly supporting the claim of the Serbian authorities, then no competent scientific community in the world would be able to refute them. And why would they anyway?!

What NATO did was a crime against humanity, particularly to the citizens and land of Serbia. They must be held accountable for this malicious and illegal act. There are simply no excuses. They were wrong from the start; from the political to the human level. They cannot be forgiven for their deadly and misguided act. Compensation is due, though it will never repair or replace the damage already done.

Cancer rates for Albanians in Kosovo has also increased significantly. Those simple people are happy that NATO poisoned this holy land.

P.S. Maja Gojkovic should prove first crimes Serbs committed in Kosovo and pretend to be the victim of their own wars.

Milk it. It’s one of the few arguments than might give you any justification for your negative stand points.

The consequences of nasty nationalism cost the lives of many more in the Balkans.

For that we can include Milosevic amongst those who were responsible.

As for the depleted uranium - let’s have a map and photographs of cordoned off areas.

Let’s aleo have statistics on the effects of smoking - it will cause many more cancers than depleted uranium ever will - and let’s blame the government for not doing enough to protect its citizens from the evil effects of the evil weed.

Depleted uranium is used in bullets, as its very dense and and easily penetrates steel(tanks apc...)... where were all the tanks during the war in, well in kosovo... where were the majority of bullets fired... in kosovo...
