As a Cypriot that saw this article posted on our sub-reddit, just wanted to say LOL on this comment and extra LOL on the "they are nearly all from Cyprus" part. Better not speak if you have no idea on what you are talking about.

Just a small correction. Turkish part of Cyprus is way more built then the Greek part. Turks are much younger and more vibrant and they are nearly all from Cyprus. Greeks part in Cyprus looks amazing though, but they are getting older and younger people are moving to EU in significant numbers.

The president of Cyprus must be really really interested in what Merkel told Vucic and what that might entail for Cyprus. That is, I think, the main reason of his visit. And also what little Cyprus can do for Serbia now that the time has really come for Serbia's ruling class to decide where they want to take Serbia.

... Its also interesting that Erdogan has not encouraged his business people to invest anywhere but Serbia proper. I believe more industry is being opened up by Turkish business in Serbia.

I have just come back from Cyprus and took the opportunity to visit the Turkish side. I can tell you that its very poor and the Turks have settled it with people from central turkey to make up numbers. They also have 50,000 troops there, but its infrastructure has not moved form the 1970s. In fact this exercise is costing Turkey a packet every year.

It wouldn't harm if Dačić said something about Serbs going to Crimea will be sanctioned too.

Interestingly, whatever effort Vučić does to improve relationship with Turkey, Dačić follows with undoing his work. Who is this belly dancer working for?!!! Srpska posla.

Irish Tom 😁, it's called a balancing politics act that Serbs are doing brilliantly. Your Turkish friends are not investing in your Pristina Mafia leaders . Who has invest and open up factories and companies in Pristina??
