Croatian Nazis = 250,000, Serb Nazis = 1*. Even though the Serb was trying to save his people from being murdered - I'll give this one to you for arguments sake, However, the Croatians were willing, enthusiastic, and welcoming participants in the Nazi agenda - you know, welcoming parades and all!! I would think this is a very fair statement.
(ChiTown, 4 May 2018 01:23)

CheeTown,

Please forward the personal details of that one-and-only Nazi Serb. That should not be difficult for you. Your gelly dancer FM Dačić claims to have the names, addresses, shoe sizes and all corresponding spcecs for exactly 20000 children he claims to have been killed by Croats. Such a well coincidentally rounded up number beats your ONE big time!!!

This argument is pretty simple to resolve.

Of course, dear, your logic is absolutely correct this time that, just because some people like Nedic or Pavelic collaborated with the Nazis to exterminate Croats, Jews, Roma, Serbs or other ethnicities, that does not mean that all Croats or all Serbs are Nazi collaborators.

Are you actually going to compare Nedic to Pavelic?
I guess you can't help being so stupid but you can help showing it at every opportunity.
Take my advice. It's actually quite pathetic how you go on and on.

From icj1: " just because some people like Nedic or Pavelic collaborated with the Nazis..."

Your attempt to obfuscate the issue is shameful. There is no comparison between Nedic and Pavelic. One man, Nedic, cooperated with the Nazis after they had bombed Belgrade and occupied Serbia. His cooperation was an attempt to stem the brutal killing of Serb civilians by the Nazis. Pavelic on the other hand, welcomed the Nazis into Zagreb with a parade and gleefully participated in the extermination of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies. There was no bombing of Zagreb by the Nazis as there was Belgrade. There were no 100 Croat civilians killed for every German soldier killed and 50 Croatian civilians killed for every German soldier wounded as there was for Serbs, This is why Nedic cooperated, because Serb civilians were getting slaughtered by the Nazis. No such thing occurred in Croatia. Your attempt to equate the two is an old Croatian revisionist tactic that those who are familiar with the history can see right through. How do you live with yourself?

I'm not from here but have lived here for a number of years. So much hate and anger.

More Yugoslavians were killed suring WW II by other Yugoslavians than Germans. That's a fact.

But even if you accept that Croatia sided with the Nazis 70 years ago, most of those people are now dead. That doesn't mean their offspring sided with the Nazis. These are different people. We can't be held accountable for the actions of our ancestors. It makes no sense.

Having said that it's offensive to honor these people.

It seems like it was so easy to stir hate and violence here in the '90's, and probably today. Big mouth politicians stir the pot and the next thing is your grandfather killed my grandfather so I will kill you. And it is on. The politicians stirred the pot but it did not take a lot of arm twisting to get people on board with the program.

Tito, Milosevic, Tudjman, they didn't happen without public support. You people all rallied behind them. When you finally got rid of the communists you turned around and elected many of the same jerks who had ruled over you as communists because they changed the name of their parties.

What did you expect?

true words, but hey this is balkan, the only joy some people have is to talk about how bad the others are.

Regarding your last paragraph, Tudjman and Milosevic were only communists on the paper. Two fascist nationalists is the better description for them.
Communism put people regarding technology and wealth behind the capitalistic countries, but people lived comparing to other countries at that time pretty descent.

So say the new NAZIs. The NAZIs transformed into NATO and strangely enough, those in the western Balkans that supported the NAZIs and now supporting NATO, so expelling hundreds of thousands of Serbs from their ancestral lands is acceptable to the new NAZIs.

@Lenard, poor Croatians didn't have a choice and had to become murderous evil Ustasha.
They had to create Jasenovac and kill so many Serbs, Jews and Gypsies in such a brutal and horrible way.
They had to create a concentration camp just for children and have their "wonderful angelic" nuns run it.
Your history is so shameful. No amount of wishing it away is going to do it.

What's amazing to me is how delusional the Extremist Croatians (Ustase) are, and the fact that you think you can revise history. Listen little man, it's in the history books - maybe not in Croatia, but the rest of the world. Why don't you be like your Brothers the Germans (Nazis) and apologize, not just to the Serbs, but to the entire world for your systematic murder and atrocities against humanity. I believe you're just a young punk who's been led astray by one of your older relative and you're just aping the bed time stories they told you. It's hard to see how the Serbian regime of Milosevic was not the same as that of Hitler.

The only difference is that Germany was cleansed and re-educated after Hitler, while Serbia still continues with the same mentality, even being governed by the same people, and the evil continues to fester. Dacic was a minister when Serbia was committing atrocities; every year he kisses Milosevic's grave, yet he has the gall to mention Hitler in a dispute with Croatia!

"We're not the same; we didn't side with Hitler". Croatia did not either! Croatia had a duly elected democratic government. When fascist Italy, Germany, Hungary overran Croatia. They told the democratic Croatian government of Vladko Macek to cooperate with them. The government said NO and told them the fascist will lose the war. The German and Italian fascist were not say the least pleased with Croatian democratic government. Hitler and Mussolini installed 150 Croatian fascist that Mussolini was hiding in fascist Italy. The Croatian card carrying fascist numbered no more then 16000 at their height. For the fascist to stay in power they had to give over half of the Croatian coast to fascist Italy. That pissed off the Croatians that they formed the largest resistance to the fascist. Croatia was the backbone of the resistance of the 80 partizan divisions 37 were composed of Croatians. That is close to 50% when Croatians composed only 25% of the Yugoslavia population. Most of the high ranking leaders were Croatians and supreme leader Tito a Croatian. You both want to create an atmosphere of hate. You both want to make people living on the other territory look bad. You both only know to talk in groups, but serbian and croatian citizens are individuals. There are good and bad once, and that throughout history.
And for both of you maybe unimaginable, serbians and croatians manage to work together on individual level and in groups in sports, business, as friends,...

You're re the only ones who believe your own rubbish. The rest of the world has the truth, finally.

"The Nazi-hunting Efraim Zuroff from the Israel-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre on Wednesday 14 March 2018 condemned the Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic for praising during her current visit to Argentina the Croats who emigrated to the country and warned they included “many officials of its World War II pro-Nazi"

Let's just peek at the last century - WW1 Germany/Croatia allied, WW2 Germany (Nazis)/Croatia (Ustase) allied, 90's War Germany/Nazis)/Croatia (Ustase) Allied. I recently read an article, I would think you might have seen it as well, where it said that the Croatian are the MOST hateful people in the world - I guess you win...

From Avni: "Draza Mihajlovic and Milan Nedic did..."

Once again Avni is reciting from the 'revisionist history books' that he frequently uses to distort history. The Draza Mihajlovich that I'm familiar with formed the first guerrilla organization to fight the Nazis during WWII. Hitler put a $500,000 reward on his head. Mihajlovic disrupted Hitler's activities so much that he mandated 100 Serb civilians killed for every German soldier killed and 50 Serb civilians killed for every German soldier wounded.

The Bali Kombater on the other hand, was a purely Albanian arm of the Nazi party that carried out much of their dirty work in Kosovo during WWII. Did your history books leave that part out Avni? How many of your relatives were in the Bali Kombater? Please answer.

Avni & Leonard, Croatia declared its independence on April 10, 1941 and welcomed in the Nazis with open arms and flowers, four days after the Germans bombed Beograd. Pavelic and his fascist Ustasa puppet government declared war on the
United States on December 15, 1941. Draza Mihailovic was a Col. When the war broke out and was later promoted General and Minister of War by the only legal government in exile in London. The Nazis executed
100 of the people in his movement abd those that supported it for every dead German and 50 for every wounded. In 1948 President Truman awarded Mihailovic the Legion of Meritt in the degree of Chief Commander for gis contribution to a fibal Allied Victory.
