And thank you for making my point why US and other Western powers will never allow Serbia to step foot in Kosova.

- For one, both Taiwan and PR China were claiming to be the only legal government of China, so US had to pick one. Kosova is not claiming to be the government of Serbia, so the US can recognize both of them as independent. By the way, the US does not recognize the Serbian claim that Kosova is part of Serbia.

Second, Taiwanese are Chinese, both historically, ethnically, linguistically etc. Neither Taiwan or Chinese dispute this. They are the same people. The Albanians and Serbs are so dissimilar, by either language, ethnicity, religion, alphabet, historical perspective or political expectation, that the US and the West in general has realized long time ago, that granting Kosova to Serbia in 1912 was a terrible mistake that had since generated endless conflict. The hostile behavior of Serbia since Kosova's liberation, has only reinforced the idea that those two counties should forever be separate, to preserve peace, stability and prevent ethnic conflict.
