Bullfrog, no-one is denying "Kosova"*** the right to seek UN recognition. It just won't get it without approval from Serbia because both Russia and China will block it. That's what happens when some attempt to build nations on occupied territory without approval from the host nation and against international norms. It is doomed to failure.

In the meantime, Serbia's economy is going well and our friends are getting stronger, so we can just wait this one out. I can't see much progress with this frozen conflict, especially considering the Albanians can't fulfil their part of the Brussels agreement.

It appears it is only Serbia, as a participant of the Brussels talks, that finds "nonsensical" the intentions of Haradinaj's cabinet, whereas, the EU, and of course Kosova, do not.
The only reason Serbia has agreed to participate in the Brussels negotiations is to achieve EU membership. On the other hand, the only reason the Republic of Kosova has agreed to participate is to become a member of the UN. With some kind of bizarre "logic" Serbia does not believe Kosova has a right to seek UN recognition. It is just this type of "logic" that Serbia has attempted to deny the rights of others, thereby, resulting in several wars. If Serbia believes she is falling into a trap by participating in the Brussels talks, then she should withdraw from them, but she has no right to decide what Kosova wishes to negotiate.

@bullfrog, the Brussels negotiations have a clear platform set out by the EU. Not by the Kosovo* albanian terrorists or by the Serbian government.These talks are purely technical and status is not up for negotiation as the EU thought it was s closed issue... Guess not :)

First of all you spell Kosovo* with an O not an A on the end.
Second of all you need to add the * asterisk on the end as it is not a recognized country or a republic. It is a Province of Serbia.
