Prishtina's platform means that Kosovo is committed to implement a democratic European system and protect its minorities, but it will not be blackmailed.

Now let's see how Serbia responds. This whole time Serbian leaders have said their main goal is to protect Kosovo Serbs, which we all know is a lie. They will now have to stop the talks and show their true face. It will become obvious that Serbia's main goal is to take a piece of Northern Kosovo.

...LOL I guess if you're not happy in the world you're living in, just make one up where everything goes your way and you're in a position to demand the future you want :)

That's what you Serbs do. Obviously, you are talking from the experience.

If Serbia believes she is falling into a trap by participating in the Brussels talks, then she should withdraw from them, but she has no right to decide what Kosova wishes to negotiate.
(Bullfrog, 24 April 2018 10:50) #

Bullamush, on the contraire, Serbia does have every right because KiM is still its territory based on history and the agreement YOU signed in Brussels - why do you people try to shun important document at every turn. However, don't worry so much about us, there are two permanent members of the UN that will never allow it and they a friends of Serbia....

It's not strange for Albanians to comment on this and other Serbian sites. Albanians are just making sure your blood sugar levels and your mental stress levels are kept high.
(Tom L'Orizi, 24 April 2018 17:28)

@ tomaj - YES!! LOL, This is EXACTLY what you're good at...and the world, much less Serbia, is now starting to see it first hand!
This just goes in Serbia's favor..
Seriously, Why would you write a stupid thing like that?

Its so funny every day to read albanian posts about their believed importance. It really makes me laugh. Absolutely no one cares about them and in Brussels and New York, one rarely hear something positive about them and the trouble they are causing.
No, its once again time to state the obvious; Keep it cool Serbia, you dont have to do anything. The K albanians are doing the job for you by their hillbillie politicians, bad moves, overkill violent raids against unarmed civilians, criminality etc etc. Not only Spain (that is of huge importance lately) but also four other EU countries, see Kosovo as a natural Serbian province. No more, no less. And those five are joined by another 80 countries of which several are in the top 5 most powerful countries. Not to mention the Special Chambers SITF that is working in silence every day until its time to start arresting politicians and others in Kosovo.
Independent ? Ok......

If "Kosova"*** is truly independent, why would you even need to negotiate with Serbia? Also, it's quite strange that so many Albanians would come to a Serbian site and post comments.
(Zoran, 23 April 2018 14:20)

Implicitly, since Serbia negotiates with Kosova - a country which Serbia itself doesn't recognize - makes Serbia not truly independent.

There was a bad idea to negotiate anything with Serbia, to begin with. VV was right all along.
Break off the negotiations and let Serbia rot in its own shit.

As the newspaper writes, referring to its sources, "Belgrade does not want to enter deeper into the trap under which a UN chair for a fake state hides under the guise of dialogue, with the tacit blessing of 'neutral' mediators from Brussels, who have not condemned the dangerous intentions of Haradinaj's cabinet."

--------

It appears it is only Serbia, as a participant of the Brussels talks, that finds dangerous the intentions of Haradinaj's cabinet, whereas, the EU, and of course Kosova, do not.
The only reason Serbia has agreed to participate in the Brussels negotiations is to achieve EU membership. On the other hand, the only reason the Republic of Kosova has agreed to participate is to become a member of the UN. With some kind of bizarre "logic" Serbia does not believe Kosova has a right to seek UN recognition. It is just this type of "logic" that Serbia has attempted to deny the rights of others, thereby, resulting in several wars. If Serbia believes she is falling into a trap by participating in the Brussels talks, then she should withdraw from them, but she has no right to decide what Kosova wishes to negotiate.

Whether Serbia likes the platform or not, there won't be any negotiations without adhering to it. Serbia seems to think that Kosovo wants to negotiate its status. In reality, Kosovo is simply giving Serbia a chance to negotiate the status of its interests in Kosovo, such as the Serb minority. If Serbia doesn't want to negotiate its own interests, then that's its choice. They're doing a disservice to their own ethnic kin though, since not many countries have the privilege to negotiate with another country over such matters. Kosovo is actually being generous. :)
