Why is Serbia, Macedonia and Albania referred to as the ‘West Balkans’? Isn’t the Balkans Mountains found only in Bulgaria? So when are we going to start to refer to France and Spain as the ‘West Alps’ nations, and Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands as the ‘North Alps’ states?
Serbia is Central Europe:
Distance between Beograd and Paris is 1,855km
Distance between Beograd and Moscow is 2,190km.
