From my 1st hand experiences in Montenegro and trying to be Pro-Monte for years even delusional people like me must admit the little country is one hell of a shit-hole in most regards. Only, a tourist can be fooled for a month as to how backwards this place really is. It is no different than Mexico with it's secured resorts and foreign owned upscale vacation rentals. My heart bleeds. Poor, poor Montenegro!!! Again, the same leader and no path.

for Serb in Canada

Bulgaria had grow with +3,6% not 4% it slowed down at end of the year

Even in your Canada nobody had build so many buildings as build Ceausescu in special 1974-1990

He was in power 1965-1990 ( december 1989 ) but i see all buildings are build 1974-1990 9 from 10 this period

Before Ceausescu people lived in houses created from starws with toilet at comune in a yard and without heating and water as this were living 85% of people

I don`t know from where you have so many nice buildings in Croatia , in Serbia , in Bulgaria , in Greece and everywhere , because we had nothing in Romania , just some places from Bucharest and some cities but 85% was disaster

Actualy Bucharest was a village before Ceausescu even if it had a build center where were some flats , out of center it was someting as you see in India

Even if Romania is ugly at is not anymore a village

As for CROATIA if we came so close to Croatia with the old generation , imagine what is happening with the new educated generation , is impressive to be as Croatia who live from tourism and is even not a country

But Russia has never had a presence there. They are not losing anything. And I don't understand the strategic value when Russian bombers can fly from Moscow or Kaliningrad to nearly anywhere in the world. They can hit any location they want to. I don't see the enormous gain of having a port in the Adriatic rather than Black Sea, except if they were planning a ground invasion of the Balkans or Italy. Maybe I am missing something?

Romania is in a terrible position financially. Your GDP is growing so much because you gave yourselves a financial shot in the arm. You are running huge budget defects to boost your GDP growth. That is not sustainable, unless you want to be the next Greece. That is why your GDP will not even grow half as much this year.

You should look to your southern neighbor, Bulgaria, for growth and development done right. They have 4% GDP growth, but are also running a budget surplus and have steady inflation.

We Serbs need to learn from Bulgaria. Romania, although impressive on paper, is a terrible example of how to develop properly.

Regarding this article, I'm neutral on Djukanovic. Montenegro has spoken and the will of the people, whether right or not, needs to be respected. They have chosen the EU. But ultimately I will say that choosing a side is preferable to standing on two chairs like Serbia. We are not Switzerland.

This is comical Lenny! Have you ever been to Montenegro? Have you ever spoken to the man on the street there? They can't stand Croatians. Who do you think launched a few bombs on your beloved wall city of Dubrovnik? Montenegrins overran the surrounding area cleaned house on the Croatians in western Hercegovina. It was probably Montenegrins who sent your family packing Lenny! And you say Croatians have their back. You're dumber than I thought. Montenegrins remember all too well what the Croats tried to do to them during WWII. We will never forget Lenny, never.

From Teodor Mazuka: "Kudos to Albanians in Montenegro that voted for him and not for Russian lapdogs."

Once again, Milo has fooled the Albanians of Crna Gora, but then again, that isn't to hard to do. What happened to the promises of Milo making Tuzi a municipality, which he promised to do years ago in return for votes? What happened to the Malisor movement that demanded an end to discrimination against Albanians in Montenegro? What happened to the Albanians who were arrested with weapons and explosives allegedly to be used in a coup? Some of them were Albanian Americans who were held in a Montenegrin prison for a number of years. And their US attorneys couldn't do anything about it. What happened to all of the demands the Albanians had of the Djkanovic government? Has all been forgotten Teodor? You guys have been played like a fiddle...again!

@ JS The only strategic interest they have in the Adriatic or the Black Sea or everywhere is being with Nato versus being with Russia. For a normal person this means nothing as being part of Nato doesnt guarantee any better trade deals or a flourishing economy. On the contrary it guarantees politically destabilized countries and economies on the verge of collapsing with Nato's army of Albania for example storing tons of seized marijuana and closing both eyes or even helping contraband's guys. But they dont give a damn f. about that as long as Russia is out. Russia on the other side couldnt care less about adriatic's routes of drugs and prostitutes. China cares to the extent it's Silk Road project is involved but invests only in vital nations like Greece and Serbia. Being a vital nation means being like Greeks protesting against bombs on Syria. Being a nation of clowns means being like that 90 year old xhukanovic fan wearing a shirt with psikedelic colors..do not ask for sources now as I cant discover my sources in the chinese army!

new salaries in health system , medical system got double salaries in march here is the confesion of a doctor

https://www.money.ro/medic-cu-venitul-dublat-peste-11-200-de-lei-in-martie/

Almost double compared to February, when it collected 6,065 lei. The surgeon also reported a case when a patient's daughter insisted on the money.

" It is a step forward, there is still much to be done and corrected, but we can not be hypocritical and not recognize the magnifications granted. The doctors have received decent salaries since this month, so from now on, dear colleagues, when you stretch your hand behind the envelope, look into the eyes of the front man, "wrote the doctor.

adrian_bucharest 7% growth -5% inflation = +2 growth in 2017 real figure. With inflation growing expansionely in Romania my guess Romania will be in real terms -1.7 in the hole for 2018. What do you think did I hit the nail on the head? Congrats Milo doing a fantastic job keeping the Serb pig farmers down on the farm smelling their own BS. Croatia has your back.

@ SmartSerb

Could you explain how "the west" is grabbing the Adriatic Coast? What are they doing with it? And why is it a strategic interest to them?

You guys have been played like a fiddle...again!

for Serb in Canada

As for CROATIA if we came so close to Croatia with the old generation , imagine what is happening with the new educated generation , is impressive to be as Croatia who live from tourism and is even not a country

new salaries in health system , medical system got double salaries in march here is the confesion of a doctor

https://www.money.ro/medic-cu-venitul-dublat-peste-11-200-de-lei-in-martie/

Almost double compared to February, when it collected 6,065 lei. The surgeon also reported a case when a patient's daughter insisted on the money.

" It is a step forward, there is still much to be done and corrected, but we can not be hypocritical and not recognize the magnifications granted. The doctors have received decent salaries since this month, so from now on, dear colleagues, when you stretch your hand behind the envelope, look into the eyes of the front man, "wrote the doctor.

I don't think America is as preoccupied with Russia as Russophiles are of America. And I tend to think that Russophiles overestimate the "strategic value" of places where they feel they are losing influence.

@JP

Why would you ask that? Isn't it obvious to you? The West wants the Adriatic so Russia cannot have a naval presence there. It is extremely strategic.

@adrian_bucharest

From my 1st hand experiences in Montenegro and trying to be Pro-Monte for years even delusional people like me must admit the little country is one hell of a shit-hole in most regards. Only, a tourist can be fooled for a month as to how backwards this place really is. It is no different than Mexico with it's secured resorts and foreign owned upscale vacation rentals. My heart bleeds. Poor, poor Montenegro!!! Again, the same leader and no path.
