Pilot dies as military G-4 plane crashes in northeast

Unfortunately, pilots get killed when they are forced to fly jerry cans.

I can only imagine what to expect when 'new' from the Russian scrap yard decommissioned Mug-29 lot of flat pack assemble at home warplane-look-alikes start flying (if ever though).

You guys living nearby better have evacuation plans ready.

Serbia is just simply too poor to have a functioning air force. But not just Serbia, all of Eastern-Europe, except for Poland and the Czech Republic. Even Romania and Hungary can not afford to have one. Hungary lost two Jas39 Gripen within 6 months due to poor pilot training and very little real flight exercise (40-50 hours/year if they are lucky). These poor countries should not have an army at all.

What a world we live in when Albanians spare their energy to come to a Serbian news site and make jokes and laugh about the death of a completely innocent pilot doing his job in Serbia.

How's Serbia kidding it dose not have the resources to keep those old stolen planes flying. Most of the parts were made in the other Ex Yugo republics. Almost every year those planes crash Serb pilots die. Most of the planes are usually grounded because of their condition or major technicality problems.

BTW, something from a few days ago. "A US Air Force F-16 has crashed outside of Las Vegas in the third aircraft crash in two days. The pilot, a member of the Air Force Thunderbirds, was killed in the crash. On Tuesday, a Marine Corps helicopter crashed in California and a Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier jet crashed in east Africa."

I understand your point, but believe me, the 3-4 times richer Hungary can not keep their fighter pilots in the army, because WIZZ Air is offering them €10.000/month salary for easier and less demanding job. And we did not mention Easyjet, Ryanair etc. Can the Serbian army keep up with this kind of offer and how long? Or you end up with constant pilot training for the aviation industry and no pilots for your MIG29.
