Russians are our brothers. They should remember why they're all not speaking German right now.

I understand why he made the comment but it is totally unnecessary. Russia and the EU know very well where Serbia's allegiances are. Stating the obvious is a bit undiplomatic is as you tell Vlad "Did you know that water is wet?" I would take it as an insult to my intelligence.
