There is no proof just like the false accusations the Indonesian airline was shot down by Russia when in reality it was the Ukranian armed forces. Pathetic insignificant countries like Albania, FYROM and Croatia are joining in to poke the Russian bear, not politically smart. Surprised that Bulgaria and Montenegro did not join the NATO chorus.

Russia would continue to deny involvement even in the face of absolute proof. The Russian government has a track record of bluster and doesn’t behave like an innocent.

This isn't the first time Russia has been involved in this kind of assassination.

It must be the last time. That is the message that is being sent.

Whether or not you think that Russia is 'innocent' - even slight doubt (and there is plenty) is enough to justify giving this strong message.

Even if Serbia does not expel any Russian diplomats (and there is no reason why it shouldn't), Serbia should reiterate the message that assassinations and use of chemical weapons are unacceptable.

If the Serbian government just stands aside from this, it is showing sycophantic weakness and marginalising itself.

OK but where is this proof?

Thank you for removing an unconstructive and abusive post from florin.

This is a serious issue that a number countries have decided must be highlighted. Russia does need cool it from now on, and I hope Mr Putin gets the message that he has been caught out and does not have cause to maintain his swaggering arrogant attitude. It is a shame that Mr Putin has done so much harm to Russian’s hopes for a future where it is a proper integrated part of the international consensus respecting how international law works.

Bob, i ironically their are 28 countries in the EU and only 14 (so far) have decided in joining in. Why does everyone here want to Serbs to capitulate to the West on every decision that is anti-ally for Serbia? Why can't we take a neutral stance? Where is this solid, and undeniable evidence that Russia actually did this? We know the Western Media can use propaganda better than most. What would Russia gain by killing this traitor/spy? Sorry, not sold on this, yet!

Latest news.

Diplomats are being kicked out of at least 21 countries -- 16 European Union states, the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Norway and Albania -- in a coordinated effort that represents a significant diplomatic victory for the UK, which blames Russia for poisoning Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia. https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/26/europe/full-list-of-russian-diplomats-expelled-over-s-intl/index.html?sr=fbCNN032618full-list-of-russian-diplomats-expelled-over-s-intl1153AMVODtop
