I love it when Merkel first put May on her knees regarding Brexit and then plays the solidarity card to make the pill go down smoothly on May's throat! May 's only hope is that crying to the whole world about something her secret services orchestrated and carried out will eventually give a strong boost to her trembling government. Strong suspicion is enough to justify political action. Proof is not an absolute necessity.

Even if proof were publicly available, I am sure Russia would continue to bluster and fluster as usual.

This isn’t just about the latest poisoning - they used Polonium in the UK previously.

Russia has arrogantly overstepped the mark and is being made to stop doing it.

You may be correct about Bob, buy you can't imagine how many different ethnic groups hate Serbs and Russians. I have worked in many countries around the world. The Russians are guilty as sin and you know it.

First it was Alexander Litvinenko, then the sanctions, then the US tried to take away the World Football Cup, then the drug cheating Russian athletes and now it’s this attempted assassination, which was obviously staged by the UK in cooperation of the US - this nerve chemical can and has been easily produced by the US as well as UK (a UK government laboratory that produces this chemical is only 10 kilometres away from where the attack took place) and it’s interesting that the UK refuses to give Russia a sample; why? – hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It’s even more interesting to note the free press has not mentioned that Skripal’s daughter, Yulija, has always lived in Russia. They only mention that she was visiting her father, but no mention where she lives. But why let details get in the way of a good BS story.
If the Russians wanted to kill Skripal and his family, they could have done it on the day he was arrested, and no one would know. A 13-year sentence only means that very little damage was done by Skripal’s spying, but a reasonable jail term had to be imposed to deter others.
