What a sad state of affairs when the only countries in the world that support Moscow in the Skripal case are Serbia and Venezuela. The truth is, most countries don't care and have not declared their position. That's why the UK has to go around and ask for support, and obviously it has got some very limited backing only because they have allies, not because of evidence. Much like the mafia.

There was some family feud between two "spy" families. The elders (Skripalj and his - now former - friend from work) broke up at the time Skripalj was caught.

But their kids were childhood friends and later married.

Skripalj's friend asked his daughter to divorce Skripalj's son ASAP.

So she did. While in process, Skripalj's son went with his new g/f to St. Pete for vacation... and died there.

Now we are at war. So kill them all. Not enough - if someone is merely 'slightly likely' to be an Albanian - kill him / her first, investigate later because 'slightly likely' is good enough.

I guess I might be out on a ledge on this one. However, Skripal was a TRAITOR and knew the consequences of his actions and deceit. I think I'm okay with Putin (alleged at this point) wiping him out. I think the daughter was, as the Americans like to say, Collateral Damage, and was not an intended target - unless she was a spy as well, then okay.
