Ohhhhh.... thank you Slovenia!
You are a "love" - country!
(Joni, 20 February 2018 10:42)

Psst Kucan does not live in Slovenia. He is a permanent resident of Germany after he sold out the Slovenes he got lost of money from the west.

Nothing changes for Kosovo. Serbia will keep the goat herders in a cage fro ever LOL.

Other countries don't have to discuss with Serbia anything regarding their independence, same way that Serbia does not have to discuss anything with any other country regarding Serbia's independence.

Aren't you ashamed to post rubbish like this?
They violated the Yugoslav constitution and they were part of Yugoslavia.
Are you seriously that thick?

From TeslaWasCroatian: "There are consequences to starting wars and losing them, you lose territory."

After laughing the ridiculousness of your screen name, I have to agree with your above statement. That's why Serbs now control roughly half of B-H and only comprise 33% of the population. Croats on the other hand, comprised approximately 22% of the population before the war and now have only 11% and their numbers are shrinking every day. You live by the sword and you die by the sword.

From icj1 the Serb Hater: "Other countries don't have to discuss with Serbia anything regarding their independence, same way that Serbia does not have to discuss anything with any other country regarding Serbia's independence."

Precisely icj1! And those types of unilateral acts which violated the constitution of the land and international law are what led to the violent breakup of Yugoslavia where thousands upon thousands were killed and displaced. I always knew you were a warmonger. Thanks for proving me right again.

Serbia didn't start anything. You guys started the problem by declaring independence without any discussion with Serbs.

That was against Yugoslav constitution but then Tudjman decided it was time to abolish that and draw up another constitution which suited him.
None of this was exactly legal. You good luck was to have Germany on your side at the time, that's all.

For those that still have not worked it out, the Slovene President was forced into making that statement as part of the rouse to pressure Serbia into abandoning Russia and kneeling to the US. Its no coincidence that he followed the German Foreign Minister to Kosovo.

Its obvious from his statement that it was not his idea. He claimed that he would convince the 5 EU member states that have not recognized Kosovo to change their minds. If the US and Germany have not been able to do this how is Slovenia going to achieve this milestone?

Another failed US attempt.

Really this is not a surprise since this is part of a coordinated move to try and break Serbian and Russian relations and realign Serbia towards the west. First, the German Foreign Minister then the Slovene President, then the Chief goat herder Rama LOL.

Before our Albos get their nappies too moist with joy let me enlighten you guys. This is another lame attempt by the Washington wankers who have been trying for a long time to get the Serbs to bow to them. but without any success.

They ordered the hit on Oliver Ivanovic in the hope of starting something, so they could step in. Little do the western wankers know that Russia would have stepped in as well. The US is so inept they would never have seen that coming either much like their inept attempts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya etc.

This coordinated act is a clear sign of desperation since the US is running out of ideas.

I would not get too worked up over this since there will never will be a greater Alboland and nothing will change LOL. It’s a pathetic US tactic to show what might happen if Serbia does not fall into line.

For the west to accept a greater Albania would be playing right into the hands of the Serbs who would then take RS and still not recognise Kosovo, but only to leave it further in limbo.

The US bunglers have struck again.

Serbia wanted to use Slovenia to pressure Kosova because this was in Belgrade’s self interest but when Slovenia declared to work with the five EU members that haven’t recognized Kosova to do so this alarms Serbia and Serbs bark Slovenia shouldn’t interfere in this....

Serbia wants INTERFERENCE only if it’s in Serb interest.....

Serb greediness destroyed Yugoslavia as it will also destroy Serbia.

Slovenia I suppose hasn’t forgotten being shot at and bombed 1991.

Not encouraging the 5 remaining countries to recognize would also not contribute to regional cooperation, since Albanians would not be happy with such a hands-off approach by their allies. Part 1 of 2:
Don't change the subject, Watcher.
The issue is that Slovenia wanted to be a part of the Kingdom of Serbia in 1918. Then in 1987 when they were traumatized by violence towards non-Albanians they wanted to secede immediately. Slovenia exists because of the Serbs' fight for freedom in 1914. Slovenia could have easily remained in Austria, but Serbs accepted their plea to be a part of the Serbian kingdom. You are aware of the large percentage of the Serbian population that gave their lives in fighting off the Central Powers as well as the atrocities on the Serbian population? I've read 25% of the population lost their lives and that 40% of men gave their life for freedom. Understand, now?

Freedom

pre 6 godina

Part 2 of 2:

If not, then we'll examine your argument by bringing up the fact that in 1985 Turkey provided Yugoslavia with Ottoman Turkish archived documents proving Vuk Brankovic's district (Kosovo) was populated by well over 90% (closer to 100% than 90%) with Serbian Orthodox Christians and a handful scattered homes on the outskirts were Albanian. How did that change over the centuries, though? By Islam conquering the Serbian holy land (Kosovo) by inhumane means. I am not going to go into all the persecutions and child kidnappings of Serbian Orthodox Christians over the centuries, and the Muslim Albanians taking advantage of that evilness and ignoring the facts. Making life miserable for the Serb population and having an anti-Serb Yugoslav dictator as a "resolver" to the problem. I won't even mention that land has to be returned to Italy, which would land lock Slovenia. Understand Slovenia's international politics, now?

Freedom and justice is the answer, not foreign occupation that created the violent mess in the Serbian homeland.

Has anything changed with the Albanian hatred towards Orthodox Christians?
(Freedom, 19 February 2018 15:35)
@ Freedom - I appreciate your comment, however, there are always two sides to a story, right? In your linked article, it mentions that Slavs tend to treat Albanians as "inferior" second class citizens in Jugoslavia.
This could go for only so long before the "frustrations" blow a gasket...this is true with ANY ethnic group. I believe that the Albanians had a valid reason (based on link provided) to bitch, however, I believe that reason was hijacked by "special Intersts" of select few to take more that they should have...such as creating this gross project called "kosova".
I believe much can be done to rectify past wrongs from ALL sides if these chosen negotiaters put their heart into it and and make a deal that works/doesn't work for everybody. It takes two to tango..

The worst anti-Serb racism I ever met was in a Slovenian tourist destination, to a non-Serb visitor, unprovoked. On the other hand, it was in the same place that another person spontaneously equated Slovenians and Serbs in racial terms as close, similar and related.

Slovenia was the first to get out of YU- that is seen as clever of them. It also helped to start the breakup that caused so many deaths. They escaped that - clever of them.

I'm not sure if it is still true, but Slovenia was known for buying wood from Serbia, making it into toilet paper and selling it back to Serbia at a substantial profit. Clever of them.

What is important here is that the five non-recognising EU members are providing good reason for Serbia not to recognise, which is causing a headache for some. I can't see that changing, Catalonia is far too important to Spain.

Not a very bright leader! Read between the lines. Slovenia wants the issue resolved so that Serbia can enter the EU. More trade, more money. More tolerance. Slovenians are not dumb.

They come out smelling like roses!

Everyone should step away and leave this to the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo and let the people decide via a vote.

External politics from West and East has to stop. Not a big fan of Tito but someone has to take his attitude and tell all the powers to FO!

Good luck!

Slovenia I suppose hasn’t forgotten being shot at and bombed 1991.

pre 6 godina

Not encouraging the 5 remaining countries to recognize would also not contribute to regional cooperation, since Albanians would not be happy with such a hands-off approach by their allies. So either you make Serbia happy by not lobbying or you make the Albanians happy by lobbying. Slovenians like Albanians better because they’re Western oriented, unlike Russian-loving Serbia.

sj

pre 6 godina
