Ivanovic case: Kosovo police officers released

These officers have only been arrested and the Albanians are already proclaiming them guilty.
I don't know how things run in North Kosovo as far as chain of command goes but the prosecutor is obviously Albanian.
These guys might be guilty or they might'e been setup.
Who knows? Anything is possible in that place due to lawlessness.
The only thing that is clear is that Serbia doesn't have any control of law and order there and Albanians do so this could be just about anything.

The fact that foreign spy agencies increased activity quite considerably prior to this terrorist act say a lot about who was involved. And we all know who the terrorists are...

There is something wrong about this investigation from the start. Now I am not saying the Albanians planned the assassination since there is no benefit to them at all, but they are now involved in a cover up. They may be forced to do that so time will tell, but the only people who could have had any benefit from the killing are located on Capital Hill Washington DC.

Kosovo as a whole is built on corruption and crime, north or south, it doesnt mattet. How much bettet is the south? Friends and family running the government, drugsmugler and murderers in charge of police etc. Without a doubt Kosovo was better even under Milosevic.

As per Brussels Agreement, point 8,9,10, the police in North Kosovo are Serbs fully integrated into Kosovo Police force.
These officers weren't arrested for the murder, but for hiding evidence.
The question you should ask is not whether thwy are guilty or not, but why they would hide evidence when investigating the murder of a Kosovo Serb.
I have commented in the past that for Kosovo Albanians, Ivanovic's death is of no value. They rather have him in prison and discredited, not a hero.
It seems the only beneficiary from his death are certain circles in Kosovo Serb community itself.

The police officers admitted themselves on the official documents that one of them tampered with evidence (placed a spent casing on his pocket) while the other saw the first one and didn't reacted. Both allowed a civilian to pass thru the crime scene.
Both admitted that they had no purpose why they did what they did - translated in English that they were at least stupid (not uncommon for the Balkan area).
I don't know why they were released. Maybe under the Kosovo laws, tampering with evidence while stupid is not considered a non-jail offence and they can be disciplined while free.

That's not a surprise at all because the last time that Kosovo was under BG administration, the forces under the control of the FRY and Serbian authorities caused the departure of at least 700000 Kosovo Albanians from Kosovo in the short period of time between the end of March and beginning of June 1999, causing many of the average Albanian fathers with kids to end up in refugee camps (if they managed to escape alive)! And judging by the comments of the most patriotic of Serbs on this website, they can't wait to do the same thing again if Kosovo were to end up under BG administration!
