Pope and Erdogan want US to reverse Jerusalem decision

Two men who I despise for their choice of attitude. The pope is a nice guy mislead by religion. Erdogan is a nasty guy who uses religion as a route to power.

Israel - a proud people with the misfortune to have their thinking overly influenced by religion.

If God existed he would want to see better behaviour from all the organisations involved here. But he does not exist.

Of course they do, why wouldn't they? They work for the same Master called Satan!
If you need proof, just look at their wealth and what they've done with it...other than live life of luxary!
My Lord & Savior Jesus Christ used a ROCK for a pillow, was born in a stable with ANIMALS, the lowest of low....and these filthy people live life as if they are Gods, in the name of God? Hell awaits them and they will know it when they hear "Depart from me, I know thee not"!

@ bob - "God bless America", majority of americans do have a God called the "almighty dollar"...their God puts value of the dollar over the value of life. You actually are correct on this!
Anyways, Good luck to you on your journey, I however, will put my trust in one day actually seeing what I Believe...This is the true test! Doubting Thomas had to actually touch Jesus to cast out doubt, but Jesus said" Blest are those who don't actually get to physically touch me, but believe I am that I am"...

There are a lot of things wrong with the religion of these men. But just because they miss the mark, it doesn't mean that there is no good or true faith. Just because there are bad drivers on the road, it isn't the case that there is no such thing as a good driver. And just because we might have gotten bumped or even hit by a bad driver, it doesn't mean that driving is something we must avoid. We all just have to learn how to do it well.

You seem to have an extreme skepticism toward God. There has been a lot of hype in the post-Enlightenment period that God does not exist because of this supposedly logical argument and that argument but it was only hype and most have moved on past that.

The most difficult thing about true religion is that it requires us to yield our self-will to the Almighty. In Jesus, we see the perfect example of this. He emptied himself so that we can learn from him and worship and serve God out of a pure heart.

- I am not a catholic or orthodox but I respect both.
- I (quite) respect Pope Francis.
- At some times Ottomans "acted" as protectors of Jews (think Sefardim!) but it was merely "at some times".
- I do think, Jerusalem is the de-facto capital of Israel.

But Tel Aviv is more like a techno-capital. I would think twice to move to Jerusalem (and no jobs there for me!). Given a job I can consider Tel Aviv, but it's a difficult place, still IMO better than the Silly Conman Valley (now). So is Moscow.

The Silly Conman Valley lost much of it's appeal in recent 10-15 years. I would not move there unless there is a binding contract in stone for 5+ years and at minimum 150K / year (net!).
