I would like to underscore, my opinion about corporations having a psychopath problem is not something unique. You can find similar opinions nearly everywhere.

My opinion that large American political / military or even key country organizations act like private for-business companies is not unique either.

But if you add both together, the picture is rather scary.

I hope, US finds it's way into rather push for R&D than for war.

War is easier because the workforce (see my comment about Connecticut) is sufficiently trained and they need desperately a job.

For, say, (supporting) conquering the Mars they need extensive re-training.

Long-term of course much better job security and better for productivity.

But - as usual - the economic goals in the U.S. are always short-term, like the stock market.

So it is easier and faster (economic result) to bomb someone than to land on the Moon.

BTW: from long-term economic point of view, landing on the Moon was probably one of the best thing U.S. made.

It leaves a lot of questions open. I did witness some other things and I have quite pessimistic view.

During the unfolding of YU crisis we lived in Connecticut. The economics were horrific. If you heard about Bridgeport being the most dangerous city in the States - that was at that time. The price of the properties was down. So much down, a typical house was worth less, than the tax on it.

One of the main reason was the good relationship with Russia. The local blue collar lived from working on military contracts.

Some cities like Stamford were in good shape - largely people who commuted to NY lived there, not local blue collar.

This situation placed a high pressure on the government. The thinking like "if there is no war, we have to invent it - just to survive" was all over the place.

And yes, they invented. A large part of the country economically depends on the ever-present conflicts.

An other part of picture: did you notice, how many psychopaths are in management of a typical U.S. company?
Than... did you notice, U.S. military (like most of the country) acts like a corporation?

Than you realize, U.S. military is full of psychopaths.

And THIS is the answer to all kind of bombings. Starting with Dresden, than Hiroshima, than Yugoslavia.

Margarita is 100% right. Russia will not forget and forgive - unless U.S. will take a very special care. I mean here ordinary people.

In retrospect, it was a 100% stupid move. U.S. won Camp Bondsteel - but lost Russia. What a "deal".

Ivana the difference is the West have different goals to Russia. Russia has its own interests and Russia has tried to work together for a common ground but it will not be ever achieved and that is sad imagine the US and Russia firm allies.

There is a friendship between Russia and Serbia, but the West is different than Slavic nations plus Greeks, Romanians etc. They'll never understand that it's not all just about interests, not even in the politics. That's why they're constantly making mistakes with Russia and Serbia and instead of reaching their goals with us they are pushing us even further away.

Most of the people in Yugoslavia wanted a "divorce," It was a question of dividing the pots and pans. I think compromise and patience is the key to avoiding violence.

Yeltsin was a U.S. installed puppet. But when NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days and nights, it started waking Russians up PARTLY.

Russia did still go along with the U.S. after that - it didn't veto U.S.'s bombing of Libya, it also allowed U.S. to use Russia to supply it troops in Afghanistan for years, despite U.S.'s occupation of Afghanistan directly correlating with a heroin epidemic in Russia.

It was NATO's bombing of Serbia, and Serbia enduring it for 78 days of 24/7 bombing which actually helped Russia win the festering Chechnya war.

The Russians could bomb and get the job done without the west screaming it was bombing and killing civilians because Russia could point to many examples of U.S.'s "collateral damage".

So the Russian military was able to conduct the war without its hands tied back so much due to Russians always being intimidated by the mainstream media and "international community's" condemnation.

YU was already wrecked by its own internal politics, and NATO intervened after too much dirty politics by Serbia.

Whether this bothered Russia is of little consequence.

ALSO: NATO has no wish or plan to Bomb Serbia again - in practice Serbia has learned the lesson and adapted. @Dwight: Not necessarily since the existence of Yugoslavia wasn't in the interest of Russia. After the so-called WW2 Yugoslavia with its system existed because of the the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. In present days the existence of Serbia is in the interest of the Russian Federation and United States of America and people in those countries listen very carefully and implement certain ideas of the certain Serbs if they find out that those ideas are beneficial for the society.

Russia militarily intervened to defend pro-Russian citizens. What happened in Ukraine? How about Crimea - they smeared the west's face with the Kosovo precedent. What happened in Syria? Russia militarily intervened to prevent the overthrow of a secular government and destroyed the ISIS jihadi freaks that were armed and funded by the US and their Saudi head chopping friends.
If these three examples don't convince you that Russia is ready to step in militarily to protect their interests, and the interests of their allies, then nothing will. When I went last year to Moscow for NYE, I asked a group of 3 girls if I could use their wifi to call an Uber .. they were a bit stand-off ish. When I told them I arrived from Belgrade, they changed their whole vibe, smiled, opened the bottle of champagne they had and gave straight to me as a brother of Russia. They called the taxi from equivalent of Uber and paid my ride from Gorky Park to the centre of the city. I’ll never forget this!!

Yeltsin was a U.S. installed puppet. But when NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days and nights, it started waking Russians up PARTLY.

Russia did still go along with the U.S. after that - it didn't veto U.S.'s bombing of Libya, it also allowed U.S. to use Russia to supply it troops in Afghanistan for years, despite U.S.'s occupation of Afghanistan directly correlating with a heroin epidemic in Russia.

It was NATO's bombing of Serbia, and Serbia enduring it for 78 days of 24/7 bombing which actually helped Russia win the festering Chechnya war.

The Russians could bomb and get the job done without the west screaming it was bombing and killing civilians because Russia could point to many examples of U.S.'s "collateral damage".

So the Russian military was able to conduct the war without its hands tied back so much due to Russians always being intimidated by the mainstream media and "international community's" condemnation.

Frankly, if it was smarter, it would have been so cowed by them in the first place!

After the so-called WW2 Yugoslavia with its system existed because of the the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It leaves a lot of questions open. I did witness some other things and I have quite pessimistic view.

During the unfolding of YU crisis we lived in Connecticut. The economics were horrific. If you heard about Bridgeport being the most dangerous city in the States - that was at that time. The price of the properties was down. So much down, a typical house was worth less, than the tax on it.

One of the main reason was the good relationship with Russia. The local blue collar lived from working on military contracts.

Some cities like Stamford were in good shape - largely people who commuted to NY lived there, not local blue collar.

This situation placed a high pressure on the government. The thinking like "if there is no war, we have to invent it - just to survive" was all over the place.

And yes, they invented. A large part of the country economically depends on the ever-present conflicts.

An other part of picture: did you notice, how many psychopaths are in management of a typical U.S. company?
Than... did you notice, U.S. military (like most of the country) acts like a corporation?

Than you realize, U.S. military is full of psychopaths.

And THIS is the answer to all kind of bombings. Starting with Dresden, than Hiroshima, than Yugoslavia.

I would like to underscore, my opinion about corporations having a psychopath problem is not something unique. You can find similar opinions nearly everywhere.

My opinion that large American political / military or even key country organizations act like private for-business companies is not unique either.

But if you add both together, the picture is rather scary.

I hope, US finds it's way into rather push for R&D than for war.

War is easier because the workforce (see my comment about Connecticut) is sufficiently trained and they need desperately a job.

For, say, (supporting) conquering the Mars they need extensive re-training.

Long-term of course much better job security and better for productivity.

But - as usual - the economic goals in the U.S. are always short-term, like the stock market.

So it is easier and faster (economic result) to bomb someone than to land on the Moon.

BTW: from long-term economic point of view, landing on the Moon was probably one of the best thing U.S. made.

Mike, what you write is absolute nonsense. In the 90's Russia was a mess, ruled by a drunk idiot, and was NATO occupied territory. Western corporations were busy raping Russia, and Yeltsin was happily cooperating with them, which is why the west loved him and Russian people hate him.
The 1999 illegal bombing of Serbia, an unquestionable war crime, was the turning point. Putin has turned Russia around, and Russia has awoken. If you doubt me, what happened in Georgia? Russia militarily intervened to defend pro-Russian citizens. What happened in Ukraine? Russia militarily intervened to protect Russians who wanted no part of a western installed neo-nazi government (which tried to ban the Russian language). How about Crimea - they smeared the west's face with the Kosovo precedent. What happened in Syria? Russia militarily intervened to prevent the overthrow of a secular government and destroyed the ISIS jihadi freaks that were armed and funded by the US and their Saudi head chopping friends.
If these three examples don't convince you that Russia is ready to step in militarily to protect their interests, and the interests of their allies, then nothing will. If NATO tries to bomb Serbia again, I believe Russia will step in. Basically, it won't happen, is what I'm telling you, we have a strong protector now.

Yeltsin was a U.S. installed puppet. But when NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days and nights, it started waking Russians up PARTLY.

Russia did still go along with the U.S. after that - it didn't veto U.S.'s bombing of Libya, it also allowed U.S. to use Russia to supply it troops in Afghanistan for years, despite U.S.'s occupation of Afghanistan directly correlating with a heroin epidemic in Russia.

It was NATO's bombing of Serbia, and Serbia enduring it for 78 days of 24/7 bombing which actually helped Russia win the festering Chechnya war.

The Russians could bomb and get the job done without the west screaming it was bombing and killing civilians because Russia could point to many examples of U.S.'s "collateral damage".

So the Russian military was able to conduct the war without its hands tied back so much due to Russians always being intimidated by the mainstream media and "international community's" condemnation.

Frankly, if it was smarter, it would have been so cowed by them in the first place!

After the so-called WW2 Yugoslavia with its system existed because of the the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. In present days the existence of Serbia is in the interest of the Russian Federation and United States of America and people in those countries listen very carefully and implement certain ideas of the certain Serbs if they find out that those ideas are beneficial for the society.

Ivana the difference is the West have different goals to Russia. Russia has its own interests and Russia has tried to work together for a common ground but it will not be ever achieved and that is sad imagine the US and Russia firm allies.

But in saying that Russia has done nothing for the Serbs nothing Countries dont just do things for others it doesnt work that way

Most of the people in Yugoslavia wanted a "divorce," It was a question of dividing the pots and pans. I think compromise and patience is the key to avoiding violence.

Margarita is 100% right. Russia will not forget and forgive - unless U.S. will take a very special care. I mean here ordinary people.

In retrospect, it was a 100% stupid move. U.S. won Camp Bondsteel - but lost Russia. What a "deal".

There is a friendship between Russia and Serbia, but the West is different than Slavic nations plus Greeks, Romanians etc. They'll never understand that it's not all just about interests, not even in the politics. That's why they're constantly making mistakes with Russia and Serbia and instead of reaching their goals with us they are pushing us even further away.

No sj, you can’t blame no one for what you did. Serbs didn’t care about Jugoslavia – they did all for the Croatian coast and the lands in Bosnia.
Kosovo made a referendum in 1991.
Serbia was bombed in 1999 and this woman is for sure an ignorant if she don’t know it.

Sir, after the fall of communism in 90 Russia went in war with , and after that in conflicts and war with Georgia over Ossetia. Wars and conflicts in Abkhazia.. etc..etc..

I would like to underscore, my opinion about corporations having a psychopath problem is not something unique. You can find similar opinions nearly everywhere.

My opinion that large American political / military or even key country organizations act like private for-business companies is not unique either.

But if you add both together, the picture is rather scary.

I hope, US finds it's way into rather push for R&D than for war.

War is easier because the workforce (see my comment about Connecticut) is sufficiently trained and they need desperately a job.

For, say, (supporting) conquering the Mars they need extensive re-training.

Long-term of course much better job security and better for productivity.

But - as usual - the economic goals in the U.S. are always short-term, like the stock market.

So it is easier and faster (economic result) to bomb someone than to land on the Moon.

BTW: from long-term economic point of view, landing on the Moon was probably one of the best thing U.S. made.

what a coincidence that I saw the same when I went last year to Moscow for NYE with a friend of mine, he asked a group of 3 girls if he could use their wifi to call an Uber .. they were a bit stand-off ish. When he told them he arrived from Pristina

It leaves a lot of questions open. I did witness some other things and I have quite pessimistic view.

During the unfolding of YU crisis we lived in Connecticut. The economics were horrific. If you heard about Bridgeport being the most dangerous city in the States - that was at that time. The price of the properties was down. So much down, a typical house was worth less, than the tax on it.

One of the main reason was the good relationship with Russia. The local blue collar lived from working on military contracts.

Some cities like Stamford were in good shape - largely people who commuted to NY lived there, not local blue collar.

This situation placed a high pressure on the government. The thinking like "if there is no war, we have to invent it - just to survive" was all over the place.

And yes, they invented. A large part of the country economically depends on the ever-present conflicts.

An other part of picture: did you notice, how many psychopaths are in management of a typical U.S. company?
Than... did you notice, U.S. military (like most of the country) acts like a corporation?

Than you realize, U.S. military is full of psychopaths.

And THIS is the answer to all kind of bombings. Starting with Dresden, than Hiroshima, than Yugoslavia.
