Also, the Egyptian Foreign Minister visited Kosovo in Spring 2017 and stated he was pleased with the countries progress. Also, they wouldnt risk angering the US right now. They still rely on US military aid and revoking recognition wouldnt help them in the slightest but might hurt them.

A liaison office is not an embassy. Its only a rental even a small shop front building and nothing else. All was going well until Trump decided to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem and its not only Egypt that's ticked off about this Trump decision. There are several other Arab countries.

I guarantee you that US will continue military aid regardless. The US has already lost plenty in the Middle East and is in no position to lose Egypt which would be a catastrophe for Washington.

A formal revoke of recognition would be appreciated, but probably not likely. Still, Egypt voted against the KLA getting a seat at UNESCO. And it's true, the only reason why they recognized in the first place is because the Muslim Brotherhood lunatics were briefly in power. Would of never happened otherwise. As long as they keep voting against or abstaining at the UN, that is most important. Formal recognition is overrated anyway.

It is you that "doesn't get it". Have you forgotten, America led NATO in bringing victory for Kosova and will do everything possible to see "to the winner go the spoils". No amount of underhanded tactics on Serbia's part will reverse Kosova's independence, even with Dacic making a fool of himself Belly Dancing for his future Sultan. The US Senate and House of Representatives solidly support the independence of Kosova, that is all that matters and the Serbs know it.
