It seems like russia has a good hold of serbia, and russia will not let serbia go, it looks like serbia is the only country that russia has a strong influence, EU should be very careful with accepting serbia as EU member state, serbia is going to be an open door for russian influence on EU after serbia joins in.

The best solution would be to recognize Kosovo - but only if north Kosovo with Serbian community belong to Serbia and with special status for other Serbian regions and churches plus the EU membership as soon as possible. The worst scenario would definitely be to see Kosovo as part of Serbia again. Imagine if there are no borders. Albanians would be second most powerful or even most powerful political power in Serbia, they would be everywhere, they would take important positions, crime rate and corruption would rapidly increase, they would be a constant destabilisation factor and with that birth rate they would take over the whole Serbia by 2040. To remain part of Serbia would be much more beneficial for them, but luckily, they were impatient or shortsighted.

It is not realistic for the moment.

Vucic does not reveal that for instance the moment Serbia would be at the doorstep of EU it has to end it's visa policy (and v.v.)

Both sides would have to announce: Russia will have to end visa-free regime with Serbia (and v.v.).
Automatically - because of the common visa rules and mutual visa compatibility between RU and BY to be announced, Serbia would end the visa-free regime with BY (and v.v.).

Both would fly quite bad with locals.

Vucic hopes quietly that RU / BY / EU will agree on visas. This is over-due but won't happen in few years. Currently RU has much better visa agreement with the U.S. than with E.U. Americans (and Russians) pay once a modest fee and have three-year unlimited access to each country. Each time they can visit each other for up to six months. In some sense, Americans have easier long-stay options in RU than EU (where they are limited to 90 days within 180 day period).

In Russia all they need is to take the train to Kiev or Helsinki and return the next day.

I think, the US-Russian visa-free regime will come earlier than a similar one between EU and Russia.

And Serbs should keep that in mind.

Yeah right, Patko, like Switzerland, but Serbia can never achieve what they have achieved. Serbia doesn't have a pot to piss in, and will have even less if they stay with Russia. There is only one way out for Serbia and they know what that will require. So the ball is in your court, Serbia, it is your move, so don't screw it up.

I don'n mind them to be rich and happy - they deserve it. Russia does not know what envy is especially when it comes to our bratushki. Russia is the richest country in the world with goods and commodities enough for both of us. Serbs will remain proud people that never suck.

Which hole have you been the last 10 years . A lot of Russians have good income jobs and are traveling to Spain, Italy ,Montenegro, Greece,Turkey,Egypt and Serbia for holidays.
Russians make much more money than Serbs .

We are greatfull to Vucic for his ideea to give a gift to pensionaries and then he won the election without a problem , now Psd give extra pension in the cities where they won the election , In Bucharest 115 euro , in more poor cities 30 euro .In some villages 5 euro + free alcohol at bar each friday . I think they copyed from Vucic
