Looks like you lived for a while near Sorbs, the proto-Serbs around the German / Polish border. Not much changed, you live near their descendants today and speak the same language (almost).
Except that Serbian "ekavian" dialct is quite closer to Ukrainian, than yours. Typical Croatian accent (iekavian) in English is impossible to distinguish from Muscovite accent (in English). Croats learn Russian somewhat faster than Serbs and their accent in Russian is non-existing. Serbs speak way to "hard", kind of like Ukrainians.

Looks like you lived for a while near Sorbs, the proto-Serbs around the German / Polish border. Not much changed, you live near their descendants today and speak the same language (almost).
Except that Serbian "ekavian" dialct is quite closer to Ukrainian, than yours. Typical Croatian accent (iekavian) in English is impossible to distinguish from Muscovite accent (in English). Croats learn Russian somewhat faster than Serbs and their accent in Russian is non-existing. Serbs speak way to "hard", kind of like Ukrainians.
Besides, a very extensive genetic study was done to establish about ethno differences between Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, Poles, Russians and Ukrainians. We know the result... (= impossible to distinguish). ROFL.
But of course, some Croatian or Ukrainian or Hungarian nationalists do not want to know that.

I could agree some of youur statements but give us some evidence. Croats, Serbs and Hungars are mentioned even in the Chinese history. Hordes were military troops sent to and fro. Some of thhem stayed on the occupied lands and some were back or sent somewhere else. So to trace them is a big problem. If only you do not use the remaining toponymals, etnhnonimals and local languages. I have a long long handmade list but to place it will take time.

Largely agree - the technical progress is to "blame". The technical progress is an exponential curve. At first it is very flat, than the acceleration itself accelerates.
In 20 years we will wonder about our "problems" today. Our task #1 is to live the next 20 years. If we achieve that, we will probably live much longer than that.
It seems that there is a manure throwing party going on at b92, with all the local wing nuts participating, e.g factman, rote, Ataman, etc.
Hopefully all Slavs will migrate back to Russia, however I don't think Putin is dumb enough to accept them.

Croats live to hate serbs. It is their only purpose in life. There is nothing to be jealous of in croatia from a serbian perspective. You are literally no better off in any way. However as soon as something is done by serbia, the croatian people and government jump up in a frenzy. Its clear croatia is quite onsesses with serbias relationship with russia. Croats as a whole despise islam more than anybody in the region. Much less tolerant. However when the opportunity came to support muslims at serbias expense, they were all over it, even calling them brothers. Its a very insecure and low self esteem mindset. It is very comforting however to be on the opposite side of croats and balkan muslims. Those two groups have NEVER been on the right side of hostory.
If Serbia said No To NATO that means Collective Security Treaty Organization which also means No EU membership.
