From icj1 the Serb-Hater: "That's because Croatia, Slovenia and BH could not care less what Serbia's constitution says. What Crotia, Slovenia and BH care about is international law, not Serbia's law."

They don't care about international laws either, as is evidenced by the fact that they violated the Helsinki Accords also as I have previously pointed out. But to a Serb-Hater like icj1, laws of any kind don't matter. As a devout follower of the Ustasha, whom icj1's own relatives were a part of, her attitude makes perfect sense.

Clearly many people don't give a damn about the construction. If they aren't satisfied they will seek to live in another country even for a sake of braking up current country they're living in.

the us helped to overthrow a democratically elected govt inUcraine , installing a pro-nazi regime. The next step was to remove the RF from Sevastopol, where they have been for two hundred years. Crimea was always a separate ssr anyway.

Read the Serbian constitution Dwight, which applies to Sandzak. A majority of the citizens from all of Serbia would have to approve of Sandzak breaking away, not simply the people of Sandzak. This principal was violated when Croatia, Slovenia and BH all prematurely declared independence without the consent of the majority of all Yugoslav citizens, thus ignoring the constitution of a sovereign nation.

@njegos
I never mentioned the Serbian constitution, it is Zeman and sj, who think that that all that is required to secede from your parent country is a referendum.
I am wondering if Zeman would recognize a Sandzak referendum. The Crimean referndum was against the constitution.

Another uneducated comment from Dwight: "I wonder if Sandžak held a referendum tomorrow would he ask Vucic to recognize the result"

Time for the Czech Republic to withdraw recognition of Kosovo. The majority of Czechs are against it anyway. Poland should follow up shortly afterwards.

@sj "The so called referendum in Kosovo was not in accordance with the laws of the land"
Does it matter? neither was Crimea but you seem quite happy to accept that result
"Well when you guys are ready please hold a referendum in Sandzak with all of the 150,000 Bosniaks. "
Is good to know that you will recognize independence of Sandzak if they hold referendum.

The man will always take Russian side for some reason and has his own double standards.
When discussing Hitlers annexation of the Sudetenland, he hever said how it would have been ok if Hitler had just held a referendum, instead he praised the explusion of ethnic Germans from his country.
He has also not criticised Russia for double standards of recognising Crimea but not Chechnya or Kosovo etc.

I wonder if Sandžak held a referendum tomorrow would he ask Vucic to recognize the result

sj

Ohhh they had a referendum, same as Kosovo had in 1990 but Serbia doesn't recognise it same as Ukraina don't recognize the Crimean one.
(Joni, 16 November 2017 23:49)

The declaration of independence was made by members of the Kosovo Assembly on 17 February 2008. There was NO referendum in Kosovo, but there was a referendum in Crimea. That is the difference.

So let me understand what this man is saying: EU is using double standarts because she recognize Kosovo but not Crimea, right?
So, what this man is trying to say?
Recognize Crimea same as Kosovo, and all is done.
I can read the Russian message on his words...., and is in Russian side not Serbian one.
But what about Russians double standarts? They recognize Crimea but not Kosovo.

Joni

Uhhh yeaa..i forgot! I agree with this man. The West should recognize Crimea I support it.
Albanians always did!
Did this suit to Serbia?
Did Serbia support the recognition of Crimea?

The Czech president also said that "the fact that he is the only European politician" who has said so "does not mean that the others don’t have similar views."

But they "lack courage to voice them in public," Zeman said.

You surely can express your views freely in EU, can't you? As long as they are same as official...
